so we were driving down the road in an out of the way place and suddenly passed this collapsed shed on the side of the road. we had been walking in the forest collecting and photographing mushrooms. we only found a few edible ones but got some nice photos. anyway after we passed the shed i thought it would have been interesting to have taken a closer look.
we won't be back here anytime soon so i turned around a drove back and parked the car and grabbed the camera.
i wasn't quite satisfied with this shot so i tried a black and white edit
or maybe a sepia like effect is more fitting. yeah i think so
my favorite shot of this set. there is something satisfying or maybe better put reassuring that it is okay if inevitably things eventually fall apart. you can't preserve everything. nature takes over quickly and the process has a certain beauty to it.
meanwhie old ghosts reside in places like this
i wouldn't venture in here in the dark.
i couldn't help but think that maybe there was something in here that would be worth preserving. after all, one man's trash is another man's treasure...
but i guess we will never know.
