A few days ago was the academic closing of the Ballet school where my daughter Miranda practices, for which the piece chosen was an adaptation of Cinderella, but it is not the work that I will talk about today, but these beautiful pictures that I show you through @liketu, and that I managed to take before starting the show.
This play was presented in a theater quite far from home, so being a new space I wanted to take some pictures with her presentation costume, or "Tutú Romántico " (as the teacher calls it), because my girl looked like one of those dancers from the music boxes.
Several photos were taken in front of and behind a metal work that was part of an exhibit, and I thought it would be cool to use it as a sort of photo set in which Miranda showed me some ballet poses along with some balancing issues as you can see, but other than that the photos on the "grid " were beautiful.
Back at home, I did some edits to bring out the colors, and others I took them to black and white, because it definitely gives a nostalgic touch to the photos, and it's something I love, especially when she wears her Tutu, plus Miranda's look lends itself to that kind of photos.
For the others, I discovered in one of the spaces of the theater, an antique piano, and of course I wanted some pictures there, although by that time Miranda didn't have the best attitude, because now that she is growing up she is a bit annoyed by the pictures, but mom is just as persistent as she is, and knows how to get what she wants, and of course she got her pictures.
I think you can tell from her face that she didn't have much desire to pose, but she still did it, although her look says it all.

Hace unos días fue el cierre académico de la escuela de Ballet donde practica mi hija Miranda, para el cual, la pieza escogida, fue una adaptación de la Cenicienta, pero no es de la obra que les hablaré hoy, sino de estas bellas fotografías que les muestro a través de @liketu, y que logré tomarle antes de iniciar la función.
Esta obra se presentó en un teatro bastante alejado de casa, por lo que al ser un espacio nuevo quise tomarle algunas fotos con su traje de presentación, o "Tutú Romántico" (como lo llama la profesora), porque mi niña parecía una bailarina de esas de las cajitas de música.
Varias fotos las tomé delante y detrás de una obra de metal que formaba parte de una exposición, y me pareció que sería genial utilizarla como una especie de set de fotografía en el cual Miranda me mostró algunas poses de ballet junto a algunos problemitas de equilibrio como pueden ver, pero apartando eso las fotos en la "rejilla" quedaron preciosas.
Ya en casa, hice algunas ediciones para resaltar los colores, y otras las llevé al blanco y negro, porque definitivamente le da un toque nostálgico a las fotos, y es algo que me encanta, sobre todo cuando usa su Tutú, además que la mirada de Miranda se presta para ese tipo de fotografías.
Para las otras, descubrí en uno de los espacios del teatro, un piano antiguo, y claro que quería unas fotos ahí, aunque para ese momento ya Miranda no tenía la mejor actitud, pues ahora que está creciendo le fastidian un poco las fotos, pero mamá es igual de persistente que ella, y sabe como conseguir lo que quiere, y por supuesto que tuvo sus fotos.
Creo que en su cara se nota que no tenía muchos deseos de hacer poses, pero aun así lo hizo, aunque su mirada lo dice todo.
De cualquier manera, espero que puedan disfrutar las fotografías de mi pequeña bailarina.
