Bueno esto es una historia que al inicio no tenia mucho de especial era una salida mas, de las tantas que hago en mi vida cotidiana ¡Pero! todo cambio y en un inesperado acontecimiento de la vida pude presenciar el inicio de algo que solo hasta este momento solo había presenciado por tv.
Cuando estaba en casa recibí un msj de un amigo el cual me invito a tomar unas cervezas para ese día caluroso de 17º podías sentir como te derretía, para lo cual acepte y salimos en el auto a comprar algo para el sol del medio día.
No había cerveza fría al momento así que compramos algo mas ligero en sabor pero en grado de alcohol mas fuerte llamado "Switch" aunque parece una bebida de jugo es muy engañosa, ya que puedes terminar pasándote de copas muy fácil y sin darte cuenta debido a su dulce sabor, y mas si esta frio.

Well this is a story that at the beginning was not very special, it was just one of the many outings I do in my daily life. But! everything changed and in an unexpected event of life I could witness the beginning of something that until this moment I had only witnessed on tv.
When I was at home I received a message from a friend who invited me to have a few beers for that hot day of 17º you could feel how it melted you, for which I accepted and we went out in the car to buy something for the midday sun.
There was no cold beer at the moment so we bought something lighter in taste but stronger in alcohol degree called "Switch" although it looks like a juice drink is very misleading, as you can end up going over drinks very easily and without realizing it due to its sweet taste, and more if it is cold.
Fue así que pasamos contando historias y cosas para pasar el rato mientras disfrutábamos de los fuertes vientos de la cuidad acompañados de su hermoso y caluroso sol.
Aun así pasamos a notar algo fuera de lo normal, en la imagen 4 a la izquierda se divisaba mucho humo, al inicio pensamos que algún vecino estaba quemando hierba o basura, algo común en estas zonas y fue así que lo pasamos por alto por mas de 1h o mas no recuerdo.
La sorpresa fue mayor cuando ese humo paso a formarse negro y espeso que ya estaba haciendo difícil la vista del lugar, fue así que luego de eso note que subieron 2 patrullas por la carrera de alado, no le tomamos importancia seguro pasaba algo por otro lado.
A pesar de todo seguimos en el mismo lugar hasta que vimos subir varios carros de bomberos, no lo pensamos mas y mi amigo dijo: Vámonos de acá, el humo cada vez fue mayor y entendimos que estaba un incendio forestal desatándose.
Prendimos el auto y salimos rumbo a mi casa para alejarnos del peligro.
So we passed by telling stories and things to pass the time while we enjoyed the strong winds of the city accompanied by its beautiful and hot sun.
Even so we noticed something out of the ordinary, in image 4 on the left we could see a lot of smoke, at first we thought that some neighbor was burning grass or garbage, something common in these areas and so we overlooked it for more than 1h or more, I don't remember.
The surprise was greater when the smoke became black and thick and was making it difficult to see the place, so after that I noticed that 2 patrols went up the race next door, we did not take it important for sure something was happening somewhere else.
In spite of everything we continued in the same place until we saw several fire trucks coming up, we did not think more and my friend said: Let's get out of here, the smoke was getting bigger and we understood that there was a forest fire breaking out.
We started the car and headed for my house to get away from the danger.
Fue así que ya en casa lejos de todo peligro seguimos disfrutando esta ves de una cerveza bien fría para el susto, y a pesar de estar lejos vimos como varios helicópteros iban y venían por el cielo de la casa, incluso al estar escribiendo este post se podían visualizar como varios seguían llegando, aun cuando ya había pasado varias horas desde que nos alejamos del lugar.
Los incendios forestales son un problema muy común aquí en Quito, y en el verano son tan normales debido a toda esa gente que sale acampar en los bosques pero deja basura, vidrios dando lugar a que una mecha haga inicio a un desastre mayor.
Esta a sido la historia de un día normal en cual tuvo una sorpresa inesperada.
