Juan era una hormiga, que a diferencia de las demás nunca le gustaba hacer nada, era muy flojo, solamente se quedaba viendo, riéndose y burlándose de sus demás amigos mientras trabajaban unidos, una de las cosas que más le gustaba era mandar, todos tenían que escuchar su opinión, nadie podía decir ninguna palabra. Así pasaba los días y a Juan no le importaba nada, él creía que tenía el control del grupo, además poder y fama, muy pocas veces ayudaba a la demás hormigas en sus labores para qué terminarán cualquier trabajo o actividad más rápido para el bien de todos.
Juan was an ant, who unlike the others never liked to do anything, he was very lazy, he only stayed watching, laughing and making fun of his other friends while they worked together, one of the things he liked the most was to command, everyone had to listen to his opinion, no one could say a word. Juan did not care about anything, he believed he had control of the group, as well as power and fame, he rarely helped the other ants in their work so that they would finish any work or activity faster for the good of all.

Cada vez que sus compañeros estaban trabajando se quedaba sentado, solamente esperando el momento indicado para el opinar y mandar, no le importaba si salían perdiendo sus amigos, no se había dado cuenta del daño que estaba causando en el grupo, no se había puesto a reflexionar sobre su forma de ser. Una mañana se da cuenta de que ningún compañero estaba donde siempre se reunían, todo estaba en silencio, Juan pensó que se estaban escondiendo de él. Lo que pasaba era que las demás hormigas estaban trabajando duro, ya que escucharon que pronto iban a fumigar y tenían que buscar otro hogar.
Every time his colleagues were working, he sat there, just waiting for the right moment to give his opinion and command, he didn't care if his friends lost out, he hadn't realized the damage he was causing in the group, he hadn't thought about his way of being. One morning he noticed that none of his friends were where they always met, everything was silent, Juan thought they were hiding from him. What was happening was that the other ants were working hard, as they heard that soon they were going to fumigate and they had to look for another home.

Una mañana Juan se asustó porque se sintió solo y salió corriendo en busca de las demás hormigas, cuando las encontró los vio muy preocupados, nerviosos y apurados, trabajando todos unidos, lo que hizo fue dar órdenes y quedarse sentado nuevamente, sin preguntar lo que pasaba. Una de las cosas que más le preocupaba a esta comunidad de hormigas es que no tenían comida suficiente para sobrevivir. De repente el mejor amigo de juan le comentó y le pide ese favor de buscar unas hojas extras, Juan se molestó, discutió, se quejó, peleo, pero al final decidió ayudar un poco. Todos se quedaron sorprendidos, ya que era la primera vez que Juan cooperaba, sudaba y hacia algo por el hormiguero.
One morning Juan got scared because he felt alone and ran out in search of the other ants, when he found them he saw them very worried, nervous and in a hurry, all working together, what he did was to give orders and stay seated again, without asking what was going on. One of the things that worried this ant community the most was that they did not have enough food to survive. Suddenly Juan's best friend told him and asked him to find some extra leaves, Juan got upset, argued, complained, fought, but in the end decided to help a little. Everyone was surprised, since it was the first time Juan cooperated, sweated and did something for the anthill.

Juan regresó de caminar un largo camino en busca de las hojas y la mayor sorpresa para todos fue que solamente trajo dos hojas para todo el hormiguero, todos sus amigos lo vieron decepcionado con muy mala cara, lo llamaron flojo, ya que no pudo traer un poco más. Era para el beneficio de todos.
Al día siguiente, todas estas hormigas estaban preparadas para empezar a caminar y mudarse a su nuevo hormiguero. Sin embargo, escucharon un ruido muy fuerte como de una máquina y había mucho humo de color gris en el ambiente, todos empezaron a correr de un lado a otro y no sabían que hacer. Mientras que Juan, muy tranquilo, solo mandaba y decía corran en forma de burla, no se había dado cuenta de lo que estaba pasando, en ese momento de desesperación muchas de las hormigas fallecieron.
Juan returned from walking a long way in search of leaves and the biggest surprise for everyone was that he only brought two leaves for the whole anthill, all his friends saw him disappointed with a very bad face, they called him lazy, since he could not bring a little more. It was for the benefit of all.
The next day, all these ants were ready to start walking and move to their new anthill. However, they heard a very loud noise like a machine and there was a lot of gray smoke in the air, they all started to run from one side to the other and did not know what to do. While Juan, very calm, only commanded and said run in a mocking way, he had not realized what was happening, in that moment of desperation many of the ants died.

Luego de esa tragedia que les sucedió a las pobres hormiga, llegaron a su nuevo hogar todos cansados, tristes por lo que había pasado, una situación muy fea. Ahora tendrían que quedarse escondidos por unos días en el hormiguero, por el bien de todos, pero lo peor es que no tenían comida suficiente para permanecer ocultos mucho tiempo. Muchos le echaron la culpa a Juan, ya que por ser tan flojo no tenían comida y ahora que haremos preguntaron las hormigas. Juan estaba muy decepcionado de sí mismo, por haber actuado mal y no ser buen compañero y le pidió disculpa a todos, pero nadie le presto atención.
After that tragedy that happened to the poor ants, they arrived at their new home all tired, saddened by what had happened, a very ugly situation. Now they would have to stay hidden for a few days in the anthill, for the good of all, but the worst thing was that they did not have enough food to stay hidden for long. Many blamed Juan, because he was so lazy they had no food and now that we will ask the ants. Juan was very disappointed in himself for having acted badly and not being a good companion and apologized to everyone, but no one paid any attention to him.
Pasaron varios días y las hormigas nada que querían salir, ya que tenían miedo y le quedaban muy pocas hojas, una de las hormigas tuvo la valentía de asomarse y así ver si era seguro y con mucha alegría les grito, todo está en tranquilidad, ya paso todo. Así que desde ese día pudieron continuar con su vida diaria, sin embargo, Juan, en esos días de encierro, solo sin amigos pudo reflexionar y cambiar su manera de actuar ante las demás hormigas, pero aún no se había ganado la confianza de los demás, no creían en él.
Several days passed and the ants did not want to leave, because they were afraid and had very few leaves left, one of the ants had the courage to peek out and see if it was safe and with great joy he shouted, everything is quiet, everything has passed. So from that day on they were able to continue with their daily lives, however, Juan, in those days of confinement, alone without friends, was able to reflect and change his way of acting before the other ants, but he still had not gained the trust of the others, they did not believe in him.

Juan por fin se dio cuenta de todos los errores que había cometido, fue muy arrogante con sus compañeros, además aprendió que en esta vida nadie puede ser flojo, mal compañero hay que trabajar en unión y no es solamente mandar y ya, para eso hay que ser un buen líder que sepa guiar a sus compañeros y que también pude ayudar en alguna actividad en el hormiguero. Así que desde ese día comenzó a trabajar, fue más amable y generoso con sus compañeros, le dieron la responsabilidad de buscar los alimentos para todos. Las hormigas notaron el cambio que había tenido y todos pudieron unirse como un gran hormiguero.
Juan finally realized all the mistakes he had made, he was very arrogant with his companions, he also learned that in this life no one can be lazy, bad companion, you have to work together and not just command and that's it, for that you have to be a good leader who knows how to guide his companions and could also help in some activity in the anthill. So from that day on he began to work, he was kinder and more generous with his companions, he was given the responsibility of looking for food for everyone. The ants noticed the change he had had and they were all able to unite as one big anthill.
