It’s a beautiful thing when you write. You are connecting with others, creating something that did not exist before, and you are helping shape the world around you.
It's hard to overstate how important writing is to me. I have always been a voracious reader, but it was my writing that really helped me connect with the world around me.
I love to write. It's my way of connecting with the world, my way of expressing myself and sharing what's inside me. And I'm so thankful for it—because without writing, I wouldn't have had the chance to share my story with the world!
I've always been a writer. As a child, I used to write poems and stories about my favorite toys and animals, but as I grew older, I realized that writing was something that could make me a better person. My teacher encouraged me to start writing down all my thoughts on paper—and now I can't imagine life without it.
Writing connects me with other people. The world is a big place, and it can be hard to know what's going on in it. But every day, I get to meet people from all over the globe who are interested in learning more about my perspective on life. I think about what they're feeling and thinking, and then try to put myself into their shoes by imagining what it would be like for them if they were experiencing the same thing. Sometimes this can be difficult—if you're writing about something sad, for example—but it can also be really helpful if you're working on something happy or hopeful!
Writing helps me feel connected to others around the world—it makes me feel as though we are all in this together, sharing our experiences with one another through words on paper or screens. It lets us see how someone else feels when they read your words or hear them spoken out loud by someone else. It gives us a chance to connect with people without knowing them personally—but it also gives us an opportunity to build bridges between people by learning about their lives from their writings or stories told by friends or family members who know them best.
When you write, you're not just putting words on the page—you're creating a space where people can come together and share their experiences and stories, which is how we learn about each other and grow as a society.
Writing connects us to each other in ways that aren't always obvious: when we read, we learn about people who aren't like us; when we write, we learn from those who are. And when we do it together? That's powerful stuff!
Writing helps me make sense of things that happen around me. When something happens in my life, I try to reflect on it in an article or essay. It helps me understand why things happened the way they did and how they might affect others in the future.
Writing also helped me learn about other cultures and societies outside of my own; how they lived, how they thought, and what they believed in. In particular, writing helped me connect with people who had different backgrounds than mine—people who could teach me things about life beyond my own experience. It helps me learn more effectively by exploring ideas and concepts through writing instead of just hearing them from someone else. When someone gives you information, it's easy to forget what they said hours later when you're busy doing something else!
As a writer, I am able to be present in the moment and see things from another point of view. When I write, I can build a bridge between my own experience and that of others. This allows me to understand how they feel, think and act in their own experiences.
I also believe that writing helps me understand myself: who I am and where I come from. By writing about things that are important to me, such as family history or favorite books, I am able to capture some of the things that make up who I am. These writings can be shared with those close to me so that we can share our stories together.
When I write, I'm not just writing about something I know about or about someone else's life—I'm writing about my own life, and everything that makes me who I am. It's a way of connecting with other people on an intimate level, because when you write yourself into a story, you're not just telling them a story: You're showing them your own story, and it's one that only you can tell.
***That's why writing connects me so deeply with the world: because it is the only way I can show people what it feels like to be me.
