Todos los crepúsculos
nacen ahora en su ausencia.

Y buscas tus voces
una y otra vez
para hallar una respuesta,
algo que te explique
esa reincidencia impertinente
en su recuerdo.

Quieres hablar con su fantasma,
pero lo único que consigues
es un vestigio de su abrazo en tus sueños
y algo de su calor
que aún llevas en tus huesos
le reconoce.

A veces miras atrás
y no sabes cómo sobreviviste
tanta tormenta,
aquel espíritu que se despojaba
de toda lógica,
sus entradas y salidas del infierno,
la inútil huida del Moloc
que le devoraba poco a poco,
Y tú, sacando su cadáver
del fondo de aquel lago
para devolverlo a la vida
día tras día
Y perderle siempre de nuevo.

Pero llegó el día
en que soltó tu mano,
se dejó tragar.

Después de tanta historia,
se acabaron las palabras.
Simulando indiferencia
te liberó
para darte la vida.
No dijo adiós,
pero te regaló una estrella.

All twilights are now born in your absence
and you search for your voices
again and again
to find an answer,
something to explain
this impertinent relapse
in his memory.

You want to talk to his ghost,
but all you get
is a vestige of his embrace
in your dreams
and some of his warmth
that you still carry in your bones
recognizes him.

Sometimes you look back
and you don't know
how you survived
the storm.
That spirit that was stripped of all logic,
his entrances and exits from hell,
the useless flight from that Moloch
that was devouring him little by little,
and you, pulling his corpse
from the bottom of that lake
to bring him back to life day after day
