Era una tarde, algo calurosa, sentados en un salón, a la espera de que nos buscaran, luego de realizar una actividad voluntaria, una jornada de salud específicamente. Estuvimos desde muy temprano trabajando, ya cansados, llega de repente a la escuela donde habíamos realizado la actividad, dos personas, un señor alto, como de 1,80 metros, moreno claro, una barba bajita y cabello negro ondulado, de aproximadamente 45 años, junto con otro señor mayor que él, 60 años, más bajo, y su cabello, bigotes y barba todo blanco. No se presentaron, solo llegaron desesperados, diciendo que necesitaban ayuda. Como todos formábamos parte del área de la salud, nos ofrecimos y dijimos que sí. Sin saber que seriamos sorprendidos al saber cuál era la ayuda.
Esos dos señores que llegaron nos pidieron que estuviéramos presente en un exorcismo, por si había daños físicos. Impresionados mis compañeros y yo, nos miramos a la cara sin saber que responder. Una de las señoras de mi grupo, Mariela, dijo que sí, pero el resto nos quedamos callados, resulta que días antes habíamos tenido un problema por habernos metido con asuntos religiosos, pero Mariela no estaba y no sabía nada acerca de eso.
Mariela al decirles si a esos señores que pedían que apoyáramos en un exorcismo, el resto de mis compañeros y yo accedimos. Mariela es una superior a nosotros y pues pensamos no había problema.
Vamos todos casi que corriendo hasta el sitio donde nos indicarían los señores, y de mi grupo fuimos cinco personas, mientras íbamos persiguiéndolos nos encontramos con unos obstáculos, primero fue un callejón muy apretado, y de repente uno no pudo pasar. Luego fue un pequeño bosque, se atoro otro en una rama de un árbol, impresionantemente no sabemos cómo, pero seguimos, sin perder el tiempo. Y finalmente llegamos a la puerta de una casa, parecida a la de los pueblitos costeros de Aragua, Ocumare o Choroni, y era completamente de color amarilla con ventanas azul rey, con muchos detalles de debilidad en la construcción.
Al pasar hacia adentro de la casa, ya solo quedábamos dos de mis compañeros y yo, y al entrar, nos damos cuenta de que la casa realmente estaba muy deteriorada. Enseguida seguimos el paso, consiguiéndonos con otro obstáculo, subir al piso de arriba sin escaleras, pues estaban destruidas. Una compañera salta, es liviana y pequeña, se le hace fácil escalar con ayuda de la pared y unos escombros. La siguiente en subir es Mariela, pero me dice que intente yo primero. Se me hace algo complicado, soy más pesada y el agujero por donde teníamos que subir era algo estrecho, pero colocando mis brazos flexionados con ayuda de mis manos agarrándome fuerte del piso siguiente, logro subir, impulsándome con la punta de uno de mis pies y con una pierna ya arriba. Al estar arriba, miro hacia el frente, viendo |en todo el medio la entrada a un cuarto que está abierto, un colchón en el piso con un niño en él, las dos personas que nos buscaron y un cura con una biblia en la mano rezándole al niño, mientras le echaba agua bendita. Pude detallar enseguida al niño, de piel blanca, calvo, de una contextura muy normal, tenía los puños de su mano apretando y cerrados, al igual que sus ojos, se retorcía, y se quejaba, tambien tenía unas heridas, unos pequeños rasguños.
Después de observar esa escena y al niño en dos segundos, seguí avanzando, lo más rápido posible, ya que el piso era muy inestable, incluso con partes ya caídas, corrí y salte a la habitación donde se encontraban los demás. Faltando Mariela, le decíamos que se apurara al ver su cara asomada al intentar subir, lo logra, y ya arriba al empezar a correr hacia nosotros, el piso se desploma completamente. Mi compañera y yo nos agachamos a los pies del niño encima del colchón, mirándonos fijamente, al mismo tiempo que el cura pregunta si somos solo nosotras dos, y sin darnos chance de responder, el niño deja de moverse, dirige la mirada hacia nosotras dos y dice de manera muy determinante:
-Si, ellas son las elegidas.
It was a rather hot afternoon, sitting in a classroom, waiting to be picked up after a voluntary activity, specifically a health day. We had been working very early in the morning, already tired, when suddenly two people arrived at the school where we had done the activity, a tall man, about 1.80 metres tall, light brown, with a short beard and wavy black hair, about 45 years old, together with another man older than him, 60 years old, shorter, and his hair, moustache and beard all white. They didn't introduce themselves, they just came in desperate, saying they needed help. As we were all in the health care field, we volunteered and said yes. Not knowing that we would be surprised to find out what the help was.
Those two gentlemen who arrived asked us to be present at an exorcism, in case there was physical harm. Impressed, my companions and I looked at each other's faces, not knowing what to say. One of the ladies in my group, Mariela, said yes, but the rest of us kept quiet, it turns out that days before we had had a problem for having meddled with religious matters, but Mariela wasn't there and didn't know anything about it.
When Mariela said yes to those gentlemen who were asking for our support in an exorcism, the rest of my companions and I agreed. Mariela is superior to us and we thought it was no problem.
We all went almost running to the place where the gentlemen would indicate us, and from my group we were five people, while we were chasing them we found some obstacles, first it was a very tight alley, and suddenly one could not pass. Then it was a small forest, another one got stuck on a branch of a tree, impressively we don't know how, but we kept going, without wasting time. And finally we arrived at the door of a house, similar to those in the coastal towns of Aragua, Ocumare or Choroni, and it was completely yellow with king blue windows, with many details of weakness in the construction.
As we passed inside the house, only two of my companions and I were left, and as we entered, we realised that the house was really very dilapidated. We immediately followed the step, and came up against another obstacle, climbing to the upper floor without stairs, as they were destroyed. One of our companions jumps up, she is light and small, and it is easy for her to climb with the help of the wall and some rubble. The next one to climb is Mariela, but she tells me to try first. It's a bit difficult for me, I'm heavier and the hole we had to climb through was a bit narrow, but by putting my arms bent with the help of my hands holding on tight to the next floor, I manage to climb, pushing myself up with the tip of one of my feet and with one leg already up. At the top, I look towards the front, seeing in the middle the entrance to a room that is open, a mattress on the floor with a child on it, the two people who were looking for us and a priest with a bible in his hand praying to the child, while pouring holy water on him. I could immediately see the child, white skinned, bald, of a very normal build, his fists were clenched and closed, as were his eyes, he was writhing and complaining, he also had some wounds, some small scratches.
After observing that scene and the child in two seconds, I kept moving forward, as fast as possible, as the floor was very unstable, even with parts already fallen, I ran and jumped into the room where the others were. With Mariela still to go, we told her to hurry as we saw her face peering out as she tried to climb up, she managed to do so, and when she started running towards us, the floor collapsed completely. My companion and I crouch down at the feet of the child on the mattress, staring at each other, at the same time the priest asks if it's just the two of us, and without giving us a chance to respond, the boy stops moving, looks at the two of us and says in a very decisive manner:
-Yes, they are the chosen ones.
