Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I am here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, Today, I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. This week we have a new topic that follows the theme "Sharing an interesting thing about the Splinterlands game". I will share my opinion about that with you. Without much ado, we can dive into the topic straight away.
It's a new week, and I am excited to write again to participate in the Social Media Challenge. Today, I will share a post showcasing one of the modern format battles. It's fantastic, and I would like you all to watch it. This was a Modern Format battle, and I won it. I learned some lessons from it, so I am sharing it with you all.
The battle lasted 3 rounds; the ruleset was Going the distance. It was an interesting battle. It was a 26-mana condition battle with all six elements active to choose from: Fire, Dragon, Earth, Water, Death, and Life. I had four monsters in my team lineup, and my opponent also had four in the team lineup.

The TARSA summoner was used, and it is a Chaos Legion card with two special abilities it offers: an increase in health to all my units, and an increase in all melee attack units in my team. My card is a level 2, and this summoner's mana cost is 4. It is a fire element summoner.
The first place in my team lineup was the MOLTEN ASH GOLEM, a 6-mana-cost monster with one unique ability. It has range attack damage, 1 range attack, 10 health, zero armor protection, and 1 speed. It is a level-two monster and has a range attack.

The second-place monster in my team lineup was the VENARI MARKSRAT, a 3-mana-cost monster with one unique ability. It has range attack damage, 1 range attack, 3 health, zero armor protection, and 1 speed. It is a level-two monster and has a range attack. It also has the martyr ability where it increases all stats of adjacent monsters after it is eliminated in a battle.

The third-place monster in my team lineup was the LAVA SPIDER, a 3-mana-cost monster with one unique ability. It has range attack damage, 1 range attack, 5 health, zero armor protection, and 3 speed. It is a level-three monster and has a range attack. The snipe ability helps it to attack the second monster positioned in my opponent's team lineup.

The fourth-place and last monster in my team lineup was the TINDERLOCK, a 10-mana-cost monster with two unique abilities. It has range attack damage, 3 magic attack, 8 health, zero armor protection, and 2 speed. It is a level-one monster and has a range attack. It has the Last Stand ability, which increases in all stats once it is the last monster in the team. It also has the close-range ability where it can attack in the first position.

I won this battle in three rounds, and none of my team members were eliminated. The last standing monster for my opponent was a range attack monster, so once I could eliminate the first two monsters, I realized it was just a win for me. My first expectation was that I can't win this battle, but once I eliminated the first monster on my opponent's team lineup.
