Three Ways to Get Your Hands on Yaba's Pickle: There are three different ways one can get access to Yamba's Pickle in the game and they include the following;
SPS Stakeholders Pickle Release
As someone who’s been steadily staking SPS, I’m excited about the opportunity to grab Yaba’s Pickle through the special SPS snapshot. For every 1,000 SPS you’ve staked at the time of the snapshot, you’ll be eligible to buy one Pickle card. It’s a great way to reward loyal community members and adds a strategic layer to staking decisions. (Just a heads up: this method is exclusive to the main sale and doesn’t apply to the raffle or auction.)
Gold Foil Arcane Raffle
If you missed the SPS snapshot or just want more Pickles, the Gold Foil Arcane Raffle is your second shot. I love that every raffle ticket guarantees a Regular Foil Yaba’s Pickle, and each ticket also gives you a chance to win one of 50 Gold Foil Arcane cards. The crafting cost (200 Aura, 10 Vouchers, and 200 DEC) feels fair, and tickets can be bought, sold, and burned for entry adding an extra layer of strategy. Black Foil Arcane Auction

The auction format means every bid counts, and the return of points, if you’re outbid, keeps things fair and competitive. I’m already imagining the bragging rights that come with owning a Black Foil Arcane!
Card Details & Collector Appeal
Yaba’s Pickle comes in three foils: Regular, Gold (with Alchemy Potions boosting your odds), and the elusive Black Foil (with improved odds if you use Midnight Potions). Each card costs 150 DEC or Credits, and the sale is limited to just 30 days. The Gold and Black Foil versions are only available during this window, making them instant collector’s items.
The revenue split 50% to Splinterlands and 50% to the DAO, shows a real commitment to community-driven growth. It’s great to see the ecosystem benefit from these special events.
Strategic Thoughts & What I’m Most Excited For
I’m most intrigued by how the event structure encourages different strategies. Do you stake SPS for guaranteed access, go all-in on raffles for a shot at Gold Foils, or save up for the high-stakes Black Foil auction? The limited availability of Gold and Black Foil versions will influence my collecting priorities, and I can’t wait to see how these cards shake up the meta and the market.
