I finally have a maxed Kelya Frendul!
For those who have been following along on my #splinterlands journey, you'll know how much this means! For new folks, just know that I have been mainly playing in Diamond with gold level rare summoners so maxing out this one first feels awesome.
There is no doubt that Kelya is the strongest of the Chaos Legion rare summoners and big part of that goes to her supporting cast. The entire Chaos Legion set (core, Riftwatchers, and rewards) have awesome cards that pair will with a summoner that gives +1 speed and armor boosts. The only time Keyla becomes a negative during one rule set - reverse speed. And even then, many monsters can compensate for being handicapped by the additional speed they are given.
So as I look out across the remaining 4 rare summoners to max, I wanted to share the order in which I plan to work on leveling them up and get your feedback on if you think this is a good plan or not. Here is the order:
Thaddius Brood
Obsidian
General Sloan
Tarsa
My analysis is as follows:
While Obsidian is awesome, Thaddius provides a direct counter to her plus an additional bonus with the -1 Health. Also, the Death monsters are particularly powerful, especially in Diamond and Champion. I want access them to sooner rather than later.
Between General Sloan and Tarsa, it actually comes down to price as well. Sloan is much cheaper right now and one of the main reasons I want a rare Life summoner maxed is to help me with Little League rule-sets. I need to have that maxed Pelacor Conjuror available in those games and right now I'm stuck with only a gold level PC.
So that is the order I'm planning to continue leveling them up. As much as I hate seeing card values so low, it does allow for an opportunity over these next few weeks or months for me to continue averaging in and building my deck out.
