The Battle Ruleset

Five Alive: Up to five Units cann be used.
Corrosive Fog: All Units take 1 corrosive damage each round.
This is a low mana ruleset game and only two color is available to play, which the Death and Dragon Splinters. The Five Alive ruleset will ony let to use five monsters, so the choice will be easier and it would require less mana. The Corrosive Fog is a new ruleset and it means that every end of the round all the monsters on the battlefield will take 1 damage against their armor if they have any.
The Keep Your Distance ruleset is a tricky one, because I need to use different fronline monsters, because all the melee attack monsters will be banned from the following battle.
My Team Composition
Quix the Devious is a very good summoner for this ruleset, because he cost only four mana and he will decrease the ranged attack and speed of all the enemy monsters and on top of that I will be able to use the Dragon monsters as well.
I used the Venari Marksrat exclusively, because of his Martyr ability, which means if he would die he will increase all the stats of the monsters adjacent to him. In my case it would be my tank after him.
The Void Dragon will be my top tank for only five mana and after the Venari Marksrat dies he will be even more powerful than before. This card is very useful against any magic attack monsters, because of his Void ability and against any ranged attack monsters thanks to his speed.
The Spirit Hoarder is very good choice for this battle, because he cost only 3 mana and he has the Blind ability, which will give a 15% miss chance to all the enemy ranged attack monsters.
It is very difficult to use his Triage ability in this fight, because the low mana cap will allow to use only the low health monsters except my Void Dragon, but unfortunately the Triage not going to heal him at the front position.
The Naga Assassin has a huge amount of speed, which will ensure that she will attack first in every round and good stats for only two mana.
I used the Halfling Alchemist at the back of my backline, because he will halves the damage of his target if he manages to hit them. Unfortunately he has quite a low speed, so it is always a big question whether he will hit or miss his target.

My strategy was to use a solid monster at my frontline to protect my lineup and because all the melee monsters were banned I picked one tank who has the Void ability to effectively halves all the incoming magic attack damage.
I used the my Venari Marksrat to increase the stats of my Void Dragon, so he would be more powerful, which worked pretty good. Sadly I have lost my Spirit Hoarder, because his Twisted jester had the Snipe ability, but hopefully that was not that big of a deal.
In the third round my Naga Assassin was lucky, because she managed to dodge a killer attack from their Jester and by the end of the round my team killed their Riftwing.
My opponent had two magic attack monster, which was unable to damage my Void Dragon thanks to his Void ability only the Poison could damage him, but luckily he dodged that attack completely.
In the fifth round my opponent lost his Bonesmith and his Twisted Jester killed himself by missing his attack against my Naga Assassin who backfired him and killing him.
Only his Undead Priest left, but it was easy to kill him and won the game.
Do you like Keep your Distance? Why or why not?
I like this ruleset, becausee I am able to play different strategies than usual and it is always good to think outside of the box what to bring as a tank or how to decrease the stats of my enemies.
