Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. This monday, a new season started in Splinterlands, and in the previous season I managed to reach Champion II league. I earned a total of 190,744 glint in my ranked battles last season, so I got the same amount of glint at the start of this season. I also got an extra glint of +100,000 because I finished in the position 26.
In my first 5 legendary draws this season, unfortunately I didn't get any gold foil. But now I can level up two legendary units to level 2.
Now, I have the death unit Grifzi at level 2, so it has 1 more health, now it won't be easily defeated by the thorns effect.
Emberguard is also at level 2, having the Deflect ability, so now the magic reflect ability will not affect it, nor will the blast effect.
In my last 5 legendary draws from batch 1. Once again, I didn't get any gold foil, hopefully I will have better luck next time. Anyway, this time I was able to level up 2 cards to level 2.
Gallicus at level 2, now has the Shield ability, which reduces damage from melee and ranged attacks directed at him by 50%.
Finally, Chaos Battle Mage at level 2, gained the Rebirth ability, allowing it to return to the game with 1 health when is defeated for the first time in each battle.
In this battle, there will be 3 rulesets. Ranged units cannot be summoned due to the Broken Arrows ruleset. And only units with an odd mana cost can be summoned due to the Odd Ones Out ruleset. Finally, all units will gain the True Strike ability, so they will not be able to miss any attacks thanks to the Aim true ruleset.
I use the powerful archon Lorkus, who posseses the elements of death and fire. He will increase the melee and magic attack power of my units by 1. And thanks to the left-tactic of Lorkus, I will give the Life Leech and Affliction ability to Arachne Weaver and Grifzi, so they will gain health and max health after successfully damaging enemy units.
In the first position I put Halfling Refugee, the strongest 1 mana unit currently. It has a melee attack power of 5 and 8 health, and can regenerate himself each turn thanks to his Heal ability, unless his Weary ability is triggered at the start of each round (weary has 10% chance to be activated, and this chance increases by 10% chance each turn, up to a max of 80%), which prevents him from making any movements.
In the second position, Ujurak Elder will increase the health of all allied units by 1 thanks to its Strengthen ability. And it will also increase the speed of all allied units by 1 thanks to its Swiftness ability. Ujurak Elder also has the Divine Shield ability, so the first damage it would take will be ignored, except for the poison effect, which is not ignored.
In the third position, one of the great healers, Arachne Weaver. It heals other allied units for 70% of their max health each turn, after this happens, they will lose 1 max health. Arachne has a 50% chance, when attacking, to apply the Poisoned ability to the enemy units, causing them to lose 2 health at the start of each turn. Additionally, Arachne will increase his health and max health when any unit is defeated thanks to its Scavenger ability.
In the fourth position will be Grifzi, currently at level 2. It has the Sneak ability, which allows it, while in the backline, to attack the enemy unit in the last position.
And in the fifth position will be Surly Drunk, who has the Opportunity ability, which allows it to attack, while in the backline, to attack the enemy unit with the least health.
Battle
In the first round, Arachne Weaver defeats the enemy Oridum Graybrow, but he is resurrected due to his Resurgence ability, with full health and then all units take 1 physical damage. After that, my Surly Drunk is defeated due to the thorns ability of Oridum Graybrow.
In the second round, Oridum Gray defeats my Halfling Refugee. Then, Arachne Weaver eliminates Oridum for good.
In the third round, Vicious Giraffe defeats Ujurak Elder. And in the fourth round, Arachne Weaver ends the battle by defeating Vicious Giraffe.
Full Battle
In this battle, I used two of my 1 mana legendary units, thanks that Grifzi has 1 more health than my Surly Drunk, it was able to survive this time.
My opponent played with the archon Fithe Bladestone, and only two units, but they were pretty good. Oridum is particularly strong against melee units because he has the Thorns ability, which deals 2 damage to melee units that attack him. Fortunately, I had two magic units that could defeat him without too much trouble.
I ended up winning this battle with my Arachne Weaver and Grifzi alive, thanks to the Life Leech ability Lorkus gave them.

Hola a todos, que tengan un buen día y buenas batallas. Este lunes comenzó una nueva temporada en Splinterlands, y en la temporada anterior logré alcanzar la liga Champion II. Obtuve un total de 190,744 glint en mis batallas clasificatorias la temporada pasada, así que obtuve la misma cantidad de glint al comienzo de esta temporada. También obtuve +100,000 glint adicionales por terminar en la posición 26.
En mis primeros 5 legendarios draws de esta temporada, desafortunadamente, no conseguí ninguna carta dorada. Pero ahora puedo subir dos unidades legendarias a nivel 2.

En la segunda ronda, Oridum Gray vence a mi Halfling Refugee. Luego, Arachne Weaver elimina a Oridum definitivamente.
En la tercera ronda, Vicious Giraffe venció a Ujurak Elder. Y en la cuarta ronda, Arachne Weaver finaliza la batalla derrotando a Vicious Giraffe.
Batalla Completa
En esta batalla, usé dos de mis unidades legendarias de 1 maná. Gracias a que Grifzi tiene 1 punto de vida más que mi Surly Drunk, esta vez sobrevivió.
Mi oponente jugó con el arconte Fithe Bladestone y solo dos unidades, pero eran bastante buenas. Oridum es particularmente fuerte contra unidades cuerpo a cuerpo porque tiene la habilidad Espinas, que inflige 2 puntos de daño a las unidades cuerpo a cuerpo que lo atacan. Por suerte, tenía dos unidades mágicas que pudieron derrotarlo sin demasiado problema.
Terminé ganando esta batalla con mi Arachne Weaver y Grifzi con vida, gracias a la habilidad de Life Leech que les dio Lorkus.
