It is time to share again a community engagement challenge where we welcome new players wheither from a rugpulled or exited project, splintarlands welcomes you with the new launched " WELCOM TO THE FRONTIER "
SPLINTERLANDS HAS NOW GOT 4 BATTLE FORMATS
1. FRONTIER FORMAT - This format only allows cards that are associated with foundation. For new players coming to splinterlands this is a very good starting point. Why? because this leads you to start at the campaign book1 - Waur Medge Academy . The campaign will guide you through the process where there is prologue part 1 and prologue part 2 after then you got chapter 1 to chapter 12.4 where you . This will allow you to learn about attack types such as melee, ranged and magic attack. You can learn also about positioning which come first , strategies and many others which is very teachable to new players. So After completing every chapter you are going to received foundation cards which is then playable in the frontier format.
2. MODERN FORMAT - this is where the 2 latest set cards are being played. At the moment only the new conclave arcana set and rebellion are allowed to be played. This is where you can see real players playing manually. This means this format has higher sps earnings . The problem is that with lacking of players the team had provided some liquidity bots to ease for thos waiting time . Some players claimm that the first 40 seconds is to match with real players but after that if no opponenet is found you will be match with the liquidity bots. Oh one more thing modern format don't allow bots.
3. WILD FORMAT - this format allows all cards set from alpha, beta, untamed, dice, chaos legion, riftwacher, rebellion , conclave arcana and others except foundation cards. So every card set that was rotated will be playable here. The problem with wild is you need to pay 2000 DEC/ Cedits for the wild pass before you can play the good thing is when you are busy you can play your bots as it is allowed in here.
4. SURVIVAL MODE- is the most interesting among the game mode. All cards are allowed same as wild format except foundation cards. What makes interesting is that when your monster is defeated it needs time to be revived so having multiple copies of the same monster also bring you at advantage specially this format does not consume energy unlike those 3 formats ahead. At the beginning some players earn a lot of sps in this format although it has been adjusted but if you had a lot of cards this format is for you .

EXPLORING FRONTIER FORMAT
Frontier format is like a back to zero game as this only allows only foundation cards. The good thing is foundation cards are now sellable in the market.
My first 3 battle i was defeated and made me feel this is quite difficult only after 4th battle that i had my first automatic win as my opponent surrenders. Then 2nd win comes then win - loss . After having number of battles i realized why i am losing a lot then i notice some of my opponent got some cards that i don't have then i realized i didn't finish my campaign mode coninuation so got back and completed it before playing again the frontier mode.
As of now i got into 120 rating. But before i got into this rating i loss a lot as some players are competitive.
After winning 5 battles i received my first reward. So this is my first frontier reward card . It is 6 mana earth monster with 1 melee, 5 health and 2 speed which is good at second position for its reach ability.
