Today, I am here to show/write about DJINN OSHANNUS And why I spent near $420 and bought 14 of them!
I try my best to run the best rental asset shop for my renters & I noticed that this powerful water card was gaining popularity very fast across online videos and blog post. But that wasn’t the only reason why I bought this legendary card...
I noticed this card was renting for eight cents a day which is a lot of cents per day! For someone who aren't familiar with with the rental system, it usually cost over $100 for a card that can get you a daily yield of eight cents or more per day.
DJINN OSHANNUS is an ‘ancient demon of war’ as described in it’s lore on Splinterlands and this card is the third of four of the dawn of the DJINN.
It is a legendary reward card with the elements of water. It takes 11 cards to max out. It has eight mana, five speed, tWo magic, and 10 health. I have to admit, I have never played this card but as an investor, these cards were selling at $30 each with less than 350 for sale at the time with a eight cents a day profit. So, using forward thinking and rose colored glasses, I bought 14 at about $30 each for around $420.
However the price per rental dropped massively, down to three cents a day. So, I was rounding up in my head that 10 cards at $.10 a day is one dollar. So, I bought more than 10 with that in mind. But as I said, the daily price rental has tanked past more than 50% since I bought it. But oh well!

Was it worth it?
Yes indeed... For the experience. This card has decreased in value since I bought it sitting lower today at a price of around $20-$25 per card… But, there is only 25,518 in circulation (as of today and I don't think there will be more of these reward cards but I may be wrong!). That’s not a bad amout of legendaries for sell in my opinion considering the rising player amount every month.
Of course, I wonder if that would have been better off spent on more chaos legion booster boxes... Or maybe even some alpha summoners. Shoot, maybe even save up for another land! But who knows?
All I know is the market is crashing I got a reply online on another website where someone said the market crash on cards was predicted by some due to the amount of new cards becoming available on the market because of chaos Legion. I didn’t think of it like that!
However, I do believe that these cards will be worth more in the future because these cards will not be reprinted. This DJINN OSHANNUS is still a good card on in my opinion it only takes one card to make this one card OP all over again!
