We’ve been getting little teases for months now that land would play a role in the upcoming Conflict system in Splinterlands… and now it’s finally becoming clear how it all fits together!
This week reveal: Wagons are now tied directly to land. That’s right—your precious land resources finally have a major new use case beyond crafting and boosting production. You can now craft Wagon Kits right from the Artisan Quarter using:
40,000 Wood
10,000 Stone
4,000 Iron
2,500 Aura
These Wagon Kits can be used to redeem wagons for Conflicts or to repair damaged wagons after battles. Even better, they’re fully transferable and tradable on the non-card market—which opens up a whole new layer of strategy and trading potential for landholders.
Wait, Didn't Wagons Cost Way More Before?
If I remember right, the price of a wagon during the Rebellion cycle was somewhere around 10,000 DEC, and you could use vouchers to discount it down to about $6 (IIRC). Well, times have changed!
With the new system using land resources—and pricing Aura based on the cheapest option (Midnight Potions)—the cost to craft a Wagon Kit is now around $4. That’s a drop in cost, making it more appealing for landowners to get involved.
My Wagon Fleet Is Ready to Roll
Personally, I’ve already set up my wagons—28 in total—which breaks down to 20 from Rebellion and 8 from my Conclave presale packs. Once things kick off, I just need to remove my 3 Black Foil cards from my land plots and assign them to wagons.
After that, I’m good to go. All set for war!
Rebellion and Conclave Cards Only (But Why Both?)
For the Conclave Arcana Conflict, only Rebellion and Conclave Arcana cards and packs are allowed for staking:
- Rebellion Cards: 0.5x collection power
- Conclave Cards: 1x collection power
Pack Points:
- Rebellion Pack: 50 points
- CA Standard: 100 points
- CA Alchemy: 300 points
- CA Legendary: 600 points
But How Many Points Do We Actually Need?
Okay, now for the juicy new info...
The airdrop system is based on entries:
- Every 100,000 points = 1 entry
- Each entry has a 0.125% chance to earn an airdrop
- 800 entries guarantees 1 airdrop card (that’s 80M points total, 30day period)
- Every 25 airdropped cards = 1 guaranteed Gold Foil
If using Alchemy potions, it's 1 Gold for every 13 cards
🧪 Potion Bonuses:
Potion | Effect | Cost |
---|---|---|
Alchemy | Gold Foil chance → 8% | 50 per card |
Midnight | Black Foil chance → 0.2% | 50 per card |
Also, for every airdropped card received, 1 wagon gets damaged, even if it wasn’t used. You’ll need to repair wagons using the same resource cost before you can use them again.
🧮 Example Math Time
Let’s say you want a guaranteed airdrop:
- 800 entries Ă— 100,000 points = 80 million points in 30days
So to calc that down to how much CP (of Conclave you need) that would be
80,000,000 / 30 / 24 = 111,1111 CP
what do i have in CA only
That’s roughly:
To earn 800 entries over 30 days, you need to stake:
- 111,111 CP of CA cards, or
- 1,112 CA Standard packs, or (1112 * 100points * 24hr *30days = 80M)
- 370 CA Alchemy packs, or (371 * 300points * 24hr *30days = 80M)
- 185 CA Legendary packs (186 * 600points * 24hr *30days = 80M)
🤞my math is correct here 🤣
So yeah... now we have clear targets to plan for!
Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, I’m just excited to see land becoming even more connected to the broader game ecosystem. More utility, more strategy, more action—it’s what we’ve all been waiting for.
Let the wagons roll, and may your Conflict battles earn you some sweet airdrops!
I’ll see you on the battlefield! 🧙‍♂️⚔️
