Prologue
I had a great meeting with @meno today, discussing my future involvement in introducing HIVE to my real-life community, and that got me all psyched up. The strong coffee, helped, too. As I have little hive-coins in my eyes at the moment, and it's #hivepowerupday / #hpud, I took the time to go through my #splinterlands account as well as my #hive account to see check out my growth.
It's been a good month, and since I did the same last month, I can finally start comparing month against month. So, this is the third day in a row plotting graphs, but after the deep dive on the Farmer's Market on Wednesday and the Land-Boost-Calculator yesterday, today is an easy one. I think. We'll see where this post leads me...
Earnings Report for June 2025 for comparison.
How's the account doing?
Hive is blasting forward. Not the price, but I got a good deal, buying a lot of hive when it was low, swapping for DEC when it was high, and now it's falling again - you'll see me buying more, soon. But this growth here is all organic, as I now power-up only once a month.
I haven't powered up today yet, as I first wanted to calculate how much I should power-up. I'm sitting on 4,089 HP at the moment, up from 3527 after the last HPUD. That means, I organically made 562 HP just from posting. The same amount was paid out in HBD, so a total of 1,124 HP, translating to 243.91$ - nice record!
Since I pledged to power up 25% of my HBD - here it is:
This is going great. Within one month, including the Power-Up, I grew my HIVE account 20%. That is less than the 23% in June, but the cause is simple.
I'm writing less on Splinterlands, and more in other communities. In other communities, my networks are not that strong yet, so I have less rewards. But with consistency and improvements in quality, I will probably able to change that.
While my incoming votes are still nicely distributed, I can see a direct connection between the two of them. After around 8 months being very active on HIVE, it seems like I found a group of writers I like to engage with, and it shows in my stats now.
SPS
July was great. Though the bots are raving in modern and it's hard to get good earnings, my solid Chaos-Legion-Deck brought me some nice income in Wild. Also, I did great in Tournaments, even won some. Leading to a growth of 166% in Tournament SPS!
As diagram, it also looks pretty neat. Since I have two months now, I can use a different diagram type, to sum things up more neatly.
I can't insert a trend yet, though I would love to be able to plot the growth into the diagram. But the solution Grok gave me was a little too much work for now, so I'll just leave it for you in the table above.
DEC
Due to high Tournament activity, my DEC income dropped by 7% - but if you compare the 69% more Entry-Fee-Expense to a 166% more SPS income, well, kinda worth it. Also great to see that my income from Land went up 124%, to almost 1000 DEC each week. But we'll talk Land later.
In the last post, I had forgotten to factor in the Wild Pass. But here, I do factor it in. The monthly comparison in a diagram doesn't look as cool, as I did not figure out how to but the total in.
Land
Again, I bought a few cards and shuffled things around. The registration shows that I staked 9,536 DEC on Land, but added a total of only 618 DEC to the pools.
Accordingly, there's not much change in the pools, which is going to stay that way. I'm only putting in and taking out grain to feed my stone and iron workers, but the rest will stay were it is for the foreseeable future, as I want to use the income from land for growth.
The 9,500 staked DEC brought me an extra of 5,500 PP, so this time, my changes weren't as efficient as last month - to be expected, I did not buy any Epic GF from Beta, but only a few RF Beta Rares as they were cheap, and most of my money went into Conclave-Cards to prepare for battle and Conflicts.
Conclusion
This month made the year look a lot better. Total income is up 28% in DEC, and 21% in USD since the DEC wroth fell from almost 90ct/1000 DEC to 85ct/1000 DEC.
Still, a nice growth, which also displays in my income tracking diagram:
According to the log-trend, I should've reached the level I'm at in November. But here I am, chugging along like freight train. And yes, thanks to this outstanding month, the whole log-trend went up from 60k in December to 68k.
I love keeping track on my income, revenue and spending. Seeing that growth is very motivation, and makes me want to compete even more with myself. Making $53 per month in a game is pretty, nice and on top of that $250 for writing? Hopefully, I can get that even higher. Anyway, all goals are within reach.
HIVE: 5000 HP (probably reached end of September)
SPS: 175,000 SPS (probably reached end of October)
What are your HIVE & SPS goals? How far off are you?
Thank you very much for reading, I hope you enjoyed it at least as much as I enjoyed writing :-D If you have any comments or feedback - please let me know! And don't forget to leave your own posts for me to curate. Thank you very much!
