A few years back, I was looking for cool shirts to represent my favorite project in this strange & wacky space we all play in...@splinterlands!!! Much to my dismay, I was only able to find cookie-cutter merch on sites like Redbubble that just took existing card art and chucked that image onto some comfy cotton. That's fine and all... but I have since been wanting something a little more personal and real. That is why I'm happy to share this post with all of you.
A few months back, I approached my buddy & fellow Conquests of Kibandia Splinterlands Guildmate @jgiambi about an idea that was rattling around in my dumb brain. You see, he had a close friend who was an eager, hungry, & talented clothing designer doing his own thing, designing cool merch for him, his friends, and supporters to rock. He had a nice website and a pipeline to create, ship, and distribute said merch with relative ease.

Wouldn't it be groovy to have a line of Original Splinterlands gear?!? Unique designs and merch that help tell the story of who we are & what we are all about. To me, it was a no-brainer as we had a glaring hole that could easily be filled by an eager clothing designer looking for an opportunity to show off his stuff. Jgiambi was sold on the idea instantly & ended up pitching it to his guy who we had at "hello".
After months & months of back & forths, floating ideas, and trying to bring him up to speed on the world & culture of Splinterlands & the peeps that inhabit these parts... we are happy to introduce our friend @massparanoia along with his first Official Splinterlands Drop consisting of 5 awesome designs.

For the hardcore Splinterlands players, no phrase is as well-known as this battle cry. This design is powerful & electric literally! Simple with the main design on the front & a plain back. What else can be said besides... VoNaK!
Praetoria
As a "Land" Guy, this one speaks to me a bit. Showing off the different areas of this magical land gets me pumped for what's to come in actually unlocking & discovering what the Secret of Praetoria actually even is.
Eternal Tofu
This should need no introduction as if you are an active player, you've most likely gotten stomped by one of the most popular cards and characters in the game... Eternal Tofu! I really dig the sleeves here. This is also one of those designs that can crossover into "oh that's cool" territory for the normies that find their way to the site & are looking for a fun & cute shirt to rock.
Dr. Blight
Another one of my favorites is this ridiculously awesome Blight design. Using the very fun "Rubber Hose" design, this one captures a unique take on another fan favorite from our deep pit of characters. Teeth logo on the front, main image on the back. C'mon... how cool is this one?!? Also has "normie" appeal which is a plus.

This one is a great blend of both ingredients with the Splinterlands logo front & center but with a little touch of MassParanoia's trademark ghost character... still unnamed...
