Hello! This post is for Spliterlands Social Media Challenge. I was originally trying to make a land update post each week, but I was really busy last week... Anyways, in this post, I will be writing about my completed land goals, and update on my future plans for land. I believe that land will influence splinterlands both importantly and in a chill aspect, so I am playing and investing heavily into land. It is quite unknown what the benefits will be, but I am sure that it would be really appreciated to long-term holders of land. To fully experience the land, I am currently trying to buy more land and stake DEC on it.
Current Status
Plots Information:
Plots | Active Plots | Totems | Staked DEC |
---|---|---|---|
5 (+1) | 3 | 0 | 22,391 (100%) |
I sold a plot last week to get some DEC for my next plot, which will be a magical one. When I saw a deal in the land market, with a magical plot up for grabs for $30, I knew that I had to bite the bullet. Originally, I was trying to buy a $36 one with BiB and already built building, but I figured out that I can wait a while for it to be built. So, I bought it and got some workers running.
Currently, I have 3 active plots working, and 0 extra totem & Runi at all, which is the same as last week. But, I stopped my Grain Plot, and put that core to a magical plot to build another building.
Plot Distribution
Thalos (46) | Westerbrau (79) | Warken Reeve (112) | Dryae Tor (143) |
---|---|---|---|
1 (0 active) | 1 (0 active) | 2 (2 active) | 1 (1 active) |
The new plot was actually at the newest plot, Dryae Tor (143). I guess the seller wanted to sell this plot really quick. The Grain plot in Thalos got inactive again, as a result.
Production Per Hour:
Grain | Wood | Stone |
---|---|---|
0 (-7500) PP | 2468.75 PP (+0) | 7401.4 PP (+1304) |
0 / HR | 11.11 / HR | 13.323 / HR |
Even though I had to pull my Staked DEC on Thalos, I still added another 1.3K PP to Stone, to try to make it more profitable. I kept the Wood the same value, because of the upcoming wagon repair. Although it is very sad to see the whole Grain production gone, it is going to be just a small setback for me.
Although declined for a bit, stone is still going okay with 1.2x grain factor. Meanwhile, Iron and Wood still is around with 0.7x, even though with the upcoming airdrop.
Production Per Hour (DEC Value, Brackets: Last week value):
Grain | Wood | Stone |
---|---|---|
0 (1.184) DEC / HR | 0.266 (0.297) DEC / HR | 1.442 (1.243) DEC / HR |
With the dropout of Grain production, Stone is the main factor of production, with almost 1.5 DEC / HR production! Meanwhile, Wood has declined in value. And, it looks like it would further decrease, simply due to the massive production that is coming off from many players.
Total Revenue:
Hourly DEC (exclude Grain) | Daily DEC | Rsearch (Expected) | Daily Rentals | Total Net |
---|---|---|---|---|
0.877 (0.877) DEC | 21.048 (21.048) DEC | -26.178 DEC | -5.13 (-5.13) DEC / Day |
That is a surprising result for this week, but also expected. Even without the expected research outcome of -4.8 DEC per Hour, I am at -5.1 DEC per hour, considering the rentals which is also a part of this journey. That is mainly because my total 9 DEC / day rentals that previously worked in the grain plot is now disused. When I consider that, I am going to be +4.13 DEC. Also, I will be renting out some cards, which is more profit since Wild has proven to be unattractive with the drop in SPS value and Glint reward being kind of pointless due to CA reward coming soon.
Resource Sustainability (All Plots Combined):
Producing Grain | Required Grain (Rounded) | Producing - Required Grain | Sustainable? |
---|---|---|---|
0 Grain / HR | 100 Grain / HR | -100 Grain/ HR | Yes (Using Resources) |
That is straight just -100 Grain per Hour disadvantage for me, but I would be able to get the value of Grain using mostly the Stone that I get from the land production.
Future Plans
For my Future Plans, I have lots of them. The current final goal for me is to have a functioning, and partially sustainable Aura Plot, as of current land. With the new purchase of Magical plot, I now need, in theory, an Iron plot:
- Buy an Iron Plot, preferably Rare or higher.
- Reach 10K Research using Magical Plot's +100% --> Need to build the Research
- Start Producing Aura, and potions & others. --> Need Research to start
Side goals:
- 100K Dec staked
- Buy B/U/CL Cards
- 100% Power Core Activation on owned plots
- Use Totems for +10% & Buy a Runi
These are my current goals as of 2025. Apart from buying a magical plot, the most of the goals are quite the same as last week. But, I do not think that getting the Iron is crucial. Instead, I think that getting more production on grain and stone would be much more important. Additionally, getting more cards will be crucial to be sustainable, since I am fully leaning onto rented cards at the moment. Also, I am considering buying a runi.
Needed
$10 (2 Cores) + $25 (Iron Plot) + $20 (Staking) =
$55
At least I now need around $50
After I bought the $30 Magical Plot (with nothing on it), prices of other magical plots kept dropping, and as of writing, the floor for Research Hut Magical Plot is now at $33. I should've waited more!
Market
Finally, I will look (monitor) some land price of certain kinds of plots that I really want, or wanted in the past.
General Floor
The floor value of all land is $15 currently. That is the same as last week. But, it is important to note that floor for BiB is in $17.
Magical
Yeah... As I already said, the prices kept dropping and it got to $33. I really should've waited. There's also that Xiang Pho region that I really want to build my new plots on.
Ore Mine (Iron)
Ore Mines cost $16, which is the same as last week. The pre-built ones cost $17, so I would prefer to buy that instead. There is a lot of plots at the $17 mark, so I don't se market going up soon.
Ore Mine (Iron, Rare)
The price of the Ore Mine went up really fast, going to $33.3. That is expensive then Magical Plots at this point! I am not really buying this anytime soon though.
Conclusion
And that is all for today! If you enjoyed this land post, please leave a comment down below!
