Yo Yo My Sovereigns, Wattup?

Welcome to episode 184 of my weekly Splinterlands 101 video podcast, with fellow @hiveaustralia members, and co-hosts of the show, @mattclarke and @giotrix

This week, fellow @hiveaustralia member, from @mattclarke's part of the world, @guyman joins us for the first half of the show to talk a little about his current feel for the game and where he would like to see it go and he asks Matt a few questions about land, prompting Matt to delve into the mass versatility of what can be done with land.

Matt also shares some of the activities that goes on at the Adelaide monthly Splinterlands meetings such as live battling across the table.

Being the first episode since EOS, Gio and myself spend our hard earned Glint in the reward store, with Gio focussing on Legendary cards as somehow he has already managed to max out everything else. I on the other hand focus on chests as I still need to max pretty much everything 🤡

Whilst discussing the versatility of Land, Matt went into some detail on the resource/DEC swap pools, prompting me to reassess my current position on my resource collections and so I make some adjustments to mine, giving viewers the opportunity to see live how to manage resources in the swap pools.

Then it's onto the battling, and there's plenty of battles in this episode, taking up the second half of the show 🤠

Focussing, as discussed, on the rulesets in the customisable challenge feature. Going through the rulesets alphabetically, one episode at a time, this week is the Ferocity Ruleset.

Matt shares his love for Lilly Shieldpaw as a preferred Archon for this ruleset and we further discuss the dangers of using taunt cards in this ruleset.

Then, as the battles commence, in his first battle against Matt, Gio surprises us all with a very non conventional lineup utilising taunt, that proved to be quite effective.
