Splinterlands dropped some crazy news on us and I wanted to let the @boycharliefamily know whats up. A new Promo edition was just announced on the @splinterlands page called "Azure Dice". Azure Dice is going to contain 6 NEW Summoners,
Like the Essence Orbs, they will be purchasable in the shop with DEC only (no Credits), so make sure to stock up on your DEC ahead of time! Additionally, just like with the Untamed edition booster packs we plan to release new cards to the set via airdrops to all ΛZMΛRÉ Dice purchasers each time a certain number of them are sold. This provides incentives to players to get them earlier rather than later.
The ΛZMΛRÉ Dice cards will be categorized in the Promo edition, along with the Essence Orb cards, but will have the same combine and DEC burn rates as the Untamed edition cards. Legendary and Alchemy potions will be able to be used to improve the odds of receiving Legendary and Gold Foil cards in the ΛZMΛRÉ Dice packs as well.
Interesting to say the least! I am excited for the prospects of new summoners and new monsters. Each new expansion of cards brings more value to the cards we already have. As many of us are combining and making our decks stronger for the DEC output its important for these new additions to be made with new abilities as well. Keep it up Splinterlands team. This is continually proving to be a worthwhile investment and worth the energy of promoting on my major platforms. Heck I think I am going to be able to start a Splinterlands Brick and Mortar if I can plan this correctly.
Question for the Community
What kind of cards are you expecting from this expansion?
By the looks of it I am expecting a ton of Pirate themed Minions and Creatures. The legendary is going to have the dice involved I feel. Ahhh. I can't wait until the packs are out. Remember you need to purchase them with Dark Energy Crystals so battle or trade in some Hive for DEC quickly.
