Greetings splinterlands and hivers community! Welcome to my post dedicated to the Social media challenge event, I want to dedicate this article to a class characterized by its remarkable amount of afflictions and I mean the death class, from Zintar mortalis, Cryptomancer and Mimosa nightshade.
Saludos comunidad de splinterlands y hivers! Bienvenidos sean a mi post dedicado al evento Social media challenge, este artículo quiero dedicarlo a una clase caracterizado por su notable cantidad de aflicciones y me refiero a la clase muerte, desde Zintar mortalis, Cryptomancer y Mimosa nightshade.
Estas 3 cartas en particular le han dado la impronta a esta clase de anular la capacidad de ataque contrario, sea melé o rango. En este artículo vamos a testear al invocador Mimosa, para ello vamos estudiar cuales son los modificadores que este invocador aplica en el campo de batalla.
♟️Modifiers/Modificadores
Resta -1 de daño a todas los monstruos con ataques rango (no mágicos). Hasta ahora la clase muerte tiene el monopolio de este modificador, la otra clase que lo tiene es dragón con Quix.
Confiere la habilidad vacío a todas las cartas aliadas, haciéndolos resistentes al daño mágico.
Aplica aflicción a las cartas enemigas, impidiendo asi que habilidades como heal o triage puedan recuperar la salud del tanque o de las cartas en segunda posición.
In summary, this summoner has everything necessary to nullify the opponent's offensive potential and his ability to regenerate, he also has cards like Elemental Death and Harklaw that have the abilities silence (-1 to magic damage) and demoralize (-1 to damage melee) to finish building an armored team against any kind of attack.
En resumen, este invocador tiene todo lo necesario para anular el potencial ofensivo del contrincante y su capacidad de regenerarse, además cuenta con cartas como Death elemental y Harklaw que tienen las habilidades silence (-1 al daño mágico) y demoralize (-1 al daño melee) para terminar de armar un equipo blindado contra cualquier clase de ataque.

Ok, the battle rules tell us that the mana limit is 35 and only fire and death classes can be chosen. A tight number that 35 mana for a 7 mana summoner like Mimosa but let's try. Now let's see the rule sets.

Only monsters with ranged attacks can be used in this battle.

🚩Holy protection
Todos los monstruos tienen la habilidad Divine shield: La primera vez que el monstruo recibe daño, se ignora. El escudo divino no protege contra el veneno, se recibe el daño pero el escudo divino no se elimina.
🚩Ferocity
Todas las cartas tienen la habilidad de furia. El monstruo con esta habilidad hace el doble de daño a los objetivos con la habilidad Provocar.

🧙♂️Summoner/Invocador: Mimosa nightshade
Para esta rule set exclusivo de monstruos rango Mimosa nos ayudará reduciéndo el daño de arqueros en -1 y además evitará que cartas con heal como Cornealus, una carta muy frecuente en partidas de este tipo puedan regenerar su salud.
👾Monsters/Monstruos: Cyclops
This is going to be our "tank" due to its shield ability added to the reduction of the damage that Mimosa applies, this card will be able to hold in the first position for more than 2 rounds.
Este va a ser nuestro "tanque" debido a su habilidad shield sumado a la reducción del daño que aplica Mimosa esta carta podrá aguantar en la primera posición mas de 2 round.
👾 Queen of crows
I love the design of this card, it is truly exceptional, with this card we close our strategy to nullify the archer's damage with its headwings ability that reduces archer damage by 1. This will be enough for our tank to withstand the enemy charge.
Me encanta el diseño de esta carta es verdaderamente excepcional, con esta carta cerramos nuestra estrategia para anular el daño de arqueros con su habilidad headwings que reduce en 1 el daño de arqueros. Esto será suficiente para que nuestro tanque pueda soportar la carga enemiga.
👾 Ravenhood warden
Recently I was able to take the Revenhood warden to level 3 and now it does 2 damage, we will place it in the third position, with its protect ability we will add +2 defense to all our cards and protect them from snipers or scattershots.

👾 Twisted jester
I don't like dispersing damage very much, but Twisted jester's attacks are quite forceful, it also has dodge and high speed, we will place it in fourth position.
No me agrada mucho dispersar el daño, pero las ataques de Twisted jester son bastante contundentes además cuenta con dodge y una alta velocidad, la ubicaremos en la cuarta posición.
👾 Soul strangler
We have 2 defense points from the Ravenhood and the divine shield from the ruleset so I'll take a risk placing the Soul strangler in fifth position, this card does terrible damage for the 3 mana points it consumes, the disadvantage is that it will be the target priority of cards with opportunity so it is advisable to protect it very well if it is going to be used.
Contamos con 2 puntos de defensa del Ravenhood y el divine shield del ruleset así que me me arriesgaré colocando el Soul strangler en la quinta posición, esta carta hace un daño terrible para los 3 puntos de mana que consume, la desventaja es que será el objetivo prioritario de cartas con opportunity por lo que es recomendable protegerla muy bien si se va a usar.
👾 Weirding warrior
This card is one of my many pending tasks, I must get it to level 3 as soon as possible to have those 2 damage points, in any case we are going to use it mainly with its shatter ability to break the enemy defense.
Esta carta es una de mis tantas tareas pendientes, debo llevarla lo más pronto posible a nivel 3 para tener esos 2 puntos de daño, en cualquier caso vamos a utilizarla principalmente con su habilidad shatter para romper la defensa enemiga.
⚔️Strategy and battle lineup/Estrategia y alineación de batalla
Our opponent opted for a completely entropic strategy, I have Jacek but I would not have used him for this battle, it is necessary to have cards that have high damage from 4 onwards because if the opponent uses range attack reduction it will be difficult we will be able to damage their formation. I would use Jacek if the ruleset was blast, but let's see how the match pans out. I will leave the link of the battle below and I will proceed to explain each round.
Nuestro oponente optó por una estrategia completamente entrópica, yo tengo a Jacek pero no lo habría utilizado para esta batalla se hace necesario contar con carta que tengan un daño elevado a partir de 4 en adelante porque si el contrario llega a utilizar reducción del ataque rango difícilmente vamos a poder dañar su formación. Usaría a Jacek si el ruleset fuera blast, pero veamos como se desenvuelve el combate. dejare abajo el link de la batalla y procederé a explicar cada round.

💥Round 1 & 2💥
The first round begins and we managed to divine shield his cards in the first and second position. Curiously, our strategy with Weirding warrior worked, it broke the defense of the Molten ash golem, this is key because it allowed Queen of crows and Ravenhood to start weakening this tank with a huge amount of health.
The 2nd round begins and the opponent's attacks were absorbed by the divine shield, now it is our turn to attack, the first to be dispatched is the Molten due to the combined attack of Soul, Weirding and Ravenhood, the Cyclops takes first position and Lava launcher in second position.
El primer round Inicia y logramos sacarle el divine shield a sus cartas en la primera y segunda posición. Curiosamente nuestra estrategia con Weirding warriorfuncionó quebró la defensa del Molten ash golem esto es clave porque permitió que Queen of crows y Ravenhood comenzaran a debilitar a este tanque con enorme cantidad de vida.
Comienza el 2do round y los ataques del oponente fueron absorbidos por el divine shield, ahora es nuestro turno de atacar, el primero en ser despachado es el Molten por el ataque combinado de Soul, Weirding y Ravenhood, se pone en primera posición el Cyclops y Lava launcher en segunda posición.
💥Round 3 & 4💥
Lava launcher is certainly a formidable foe, not only is it going to take us quite some time to take him down with the Twisted jester, but he has also managed to stun our Queen of crows in the 3rd round.
The 4th round begins and Soul deals a mortal blow to Cyclops that ends up being dispatched by Queen of crows, from here the greatest danger will be the Lava launcher the rest of the cards do too little damage to affect us.
Lava launcher es sin duda un enemigo formidable, no sólo nos va a costar bastante tiempo derribarlo con el Twisted jester , sino que además se las ha arreglado para aturdir a nuestra Queen of crows en el 3er round.
El 4to round comienza y Soul asesta un golpe mortal al Cyclops que termina siendo despachado por Queen of crows, apartir de aquí el mayor peligro será el Lava launcher el resto de cartas hacen muy poco daño como para afectarnos.
💥Round 5 & 6💥
Knocked down the Cyclops, the Lava launcher takes the lead and in the 5th round we only managed to take away his defense! Without a doubt Lava launcher the definitive tank of the fire class! Still, our lineup is mostly intact.
By the sixth round Lava launcher is weakened and Soul finishes the job. With this difficult tank downed, Tower griffin moves into first position and the only card he can attack is Scavo firebolt.
Derribado el Cyclops se pone al frente el Lava launcher y en el 6to round solo logramos quitarle la defensa! Sin duda Lava launcher el tanque definitivo de la clase fuego! Aún asi, nuestra alineación esta casi intacta y antes de terminar el round Queen da un golpe mortal al Lava launcher.
Para el sexto round Lava launcher esta debilitado y Soul termina el trabajo. Con este difícil tanque derribado, Tower griffin pasa a la primera posición y la única carta que puede atacar es el Scavo firebolt.
💥Round 7 & 8💥
In the 7th round Tower griffin is eliminated by a Queen of crows/Ravenhood combo attack and finally the Scavo firebolt is eliminated in the 8th round by the Weirding warrior which ironically was the weakest card we had.
En el 7mo round Tower griffin es eliminado por un ataque combinado de Queen of crows/Ravenhood y finalmente el Scavo firebolt es eliminado en el 8vo round por el Weirding warrior que irónicamente era la carta más débil que teníamos.
🎖️Conclusions/Conclusiones
Mimosa nightshade and Queen of crows are quite an effective pairing to nullify the opponent's firepower in battles with this ruleset.
Mimosa nightshade y Queen of crows son un binomio bastante efectivo para anular la potencia de fuego del oponente en batallas con esta ruleset.
Una alternativa es el invocador de la clase dragón Quix the devious, obviamente no tiene aflicción pero lo compensa restando 1 punto de velocidad y el hecho de poder usar las cartas de esta clase que son una gran variedad.
A question that always arises in this kind of battle is which one should go in the first positions. Here my strategy is always to place the Cyclops (whenever possible) followed by a card with the close range ability like Queen of crows, Lava launcher or Gargoya lyon.
Una duda que siempre surge en esta clase de batalla es cuál debe ir en las primeras posiciones. Aquí mi estrategia siempre es colocar al Ciclope (siempre que se pueda) seguida de una carta con la habilidad close range como Queen of crows, Lava launcher o Gargoya lyon.
