Greetings, valued Splinterlands community! I was somewhat away from writing about the game last week due to important work issues, but I did religiously play my ranked games. I must admit that it was a good idea to pay for the season pass; I really enjoy playing in Wild and supplementing my Glint and Sps earnings by later playing in the Modern format. What I do find a bit unfair is the energy; I still think they should be different energies considering you're paying for a season pass. But back to the focus of the post, I want to pick up where I left off last week, that is, when we started the current season, as well as our progress so far.

We finished the previous season in Diamond II, and this week I'm back in the same league. Let's see if we can reach Diamond I by the end of this season. But overall, we had the opportunity to open the Diamond I and II reward chests.

La semana pasada estuve un tanto alejado de escribir del juego la semana pasada pues estaba atendiendo temas importantes del trabajo, pero no deje de jugar religiosamente mis partidas clasificatorias. Debo reconocer que fue una buena idea pagar por el pase de temporada, disfruto mucho jugar en wild y complementar las ganancias de glints y sps jugando posteriormente en el formato moderno. Lo que si es que me parece un poco injusto es la energía, sigo pensando que deberían ser energías diferentes considerando que se esta pagando un pase de temporada. Pero volviendo al foco del post quiero retomarlo donde lo dejé la semana pasada, es decir cuando comenzamos la actual temporada, así como nuestro progreso hasta ahora.

Culminamos la temporada anterior en Diamante II y ya en el transcurso de esta semana nuevamente estoy en la misma liga, vamos a ver si logramos alcanzar Diamante I al final de esta temporada. Pero en general tuvimos la oportunidad de abrir los cofres de recompensas de Diamante I y II.

The chests were a bit disappointing; I've forgotten the last time I got an epic card or a golden card of any rarity from these chests. However, we managed to upgrade two common cards that I'd been accumulating for months, and I finally completed them. It almost seems like a punishment for new players to dare to take these cards to the Gold and Diamond League level. The good thing remains the number of merits you can earn; over 2,000 merits is enough to buy either Gladius Cases or Blood/Power Stones.

Los cofres fueron un poco decepcionantes, ya olvidé la última vez que obtuve una carta épica o una carta dorada de alguna rareza en estos cofres. Sin embargo, logramos upgradear 2 cartas comunes que ya venia acumulando desde hace meses y finalmente las complete, casi parece un castigo para los nuevos jugadores atreverse a llevar estas cartas a nivel de las ligas de oro y diamante. Lo bueno sigue siendo la cantidad de méritos que es posible conseguir, más de 2000 méritos es suficiente ya sea para comprar gladius cases o blood/power stones.

Revealing legendary cards!/Revelando cartas legendarias!

I'm more than satisfied with the merits I earned from these chests, but going back to the balance of the past EoS, I finally decided to spend the merits I had accumulated so far. A total of 330K in glints finally motivated me to buy my first legendary draw cards. I've had the same 2 legendary cards I got from chests for 2 months now, and with the progress of the AC edition, it forces me to diversify my legendary cards to improve my strategies in modern.

Con los méritos obtenidos de estos cofres estoy más que satisfecho, pero volviendo con el balance del EoS pasad, finalmente decidí gastar los méritos que hasta ahora tenía acumulados. Un total de 330K en glints me motivo finalmente a comprar mis primeras cartas legendarias de sorteo, ya tengo 2 meses con las mismas 2 cartas legendarias que había conseguido en los cofres y con el avance de la edición CA me obliga a diversificar mis cartas legendarias para mejorar mis estrategias en moderno.

We got a nearly perfect card drop, since with the exception of one of these cards, I didn't have the rest, and since I'm in the Bronze League in Modern, they'll significantly help me improve my win streaks. To be able to use them in Wild, I need to at least get them to level 2. I would do a review of each one, but I prefer to save them for separate posts where I can expand on the advantages and disadvantages of each one.

Obtuvimos un drop de cartas casi perfecto, pues a excepción de 1 de estas cartas el resto no las tenía y como estoy en la liga de bronce en moderno me ayudarán significativamente a mejorar mis rachas de victorias. Para poder usarlas en wild necesito al menos llevarlas a nivel 2, haría un repaso de cada una de ellas, pero prefiero dejarlos para publicaciones a parte donde podré extenderme en las ventajas y desventajas de cada una de ellas.

Of course, the most notable card was Frigid Wolf, for which we got a gold foil. I've said before that cards with a mana cost of 0 to 2 are truly valuable, especially in low-mana battles or with the Little League ruleset, so they're incredibly valuable to have. It's not the only golden legendary I've gotten; I already got a gold-foil Gallicus in one of the chests, making it two golden legendary cards of the same element!

Por supuesto, la carta más destacada fue Frigid Wolf del cual obtuvimos una lámina dorada. Ya lo he dicho antes las cartas con un coste de mana 0 a 2 son cartas realmente valiosas, sobre todo en aquellas batallas de bajo mana o con la ruleset little league por lo que es sumamente valiosa tenerlas. No es la única legendaria dorada que consigo, ya en uno de los cofres conseguí a Gallicus en lámina dorada, sumando así a 2 legendarias doradas del mismo elemento!

Balance Lands

The next thing we'll do is harvest this week's harvest. As I've shared in previous chapters, I have two active plots in the Great Lowlands: in Hamford and Oxborough. In the first, we harvest grain, and in the second, which is an epic natural plot, we accumulate stone from the quarry.

Lo siguiente que haremos es recoger la cosecha de esta semana, como ya les he compartido en capítulos anteriores, tengo 2 parcelas activas en los territorios de Great Lowlands: en Hamford y en Oxborough. En la primera cosechamos grano y en la segunda que es una parcela natural épica, acumulamos piedra de la cantera.

I used to have a large amount of resources, but as I mentioned before, I spent almost all of them buying as many Conclave packs as possible, so starting to accumulate from scratch is really difficult. I'm supporting myself with the farm in Hamford to feed the workers at the epic quarry. From what I've noticed, getting common plots that generate grain is a good option since it doesn't cost many Decs to harvest the crops, in fact they can be maintained simply with the Decs you can obtain by renting cards.

Antes tenía una gran cantidad de recursos, pero como ya he comentado antes los gasté casi todos para comprar la mayor cantidad de packs Conclave posibles, por lo que empezar a acumular desde cero es realmente difícil. Me apoyo con la granja en Hamford para alimentar a los trabajadores de la cantera épica. Por lo que he notado conseguir parcelas comunes que generen grano es una buena opción ya que no cuesta muchos Decs recoger las cosechas, de hecho pueden mantenerse simplemente con los Decs que puedas obtener alquilando cartas.

In short, we have enough grain for three weeks of resource gathering on the epic plot. We've currently accumulated 97K stone in this quarry, the total collected since the beginning of July, and I think it's a very good rate. If I were to exchange them for Decs, it would be approximately 10.1K, a good yield for a simple plot.

En resumen tenemos suficiente grano para 3 semanas de recolección de recursos en la parcela épica. Por ahora tenemos acumulado 97K de piedra en esta cantera es el total recolectado desde que empezó Julio y me parece una muy buena tasa, si los cambiara por Dec serían aproximadamente 10,1K un buen rendimiento para ser una simple parcela.

Brawls Balance/Balance Brawls

Now for our Brawls review. I still have my brawls from last week pending, although I didn't quite reach second place, even though I won all my battles. I decided to spend some of the merits earned in this brawl and those collected in chests to open a few Gladius packs, which I'll show you below.

Ahora vamos con nuestro balance de las Brawls, quedó pendiente mis brawls de la semana pasada, aunque no alcanzamos el segundo puesto si gané todas mis batallas. Decidí entonces gastar parte de los méritos ganados en esta brawl y los conseguidos en los cofres para abrir unos cuantos packs gladius que te muestro a continuación.

Of the six packs, the highlights were the epic cards Quora Towershead and Trapp Falloway, the rest were common and rare cards that I don't look down on in any way, these cards add up to be able to get them to level 8 and later 9. The amount of copies needed for the common and rare gladius are huge, and although the epic and common ones have a low drop rate, the amount of copies needed for level 3 or 4 are relatively low (10 to 20 copies). The best example is this Quora that we were already able to level it to level 4 and that considering that I have opened few packs and very rarely.

De los seis packs lo más destacado fueron las cartas épicas Quora Towershead y Trapp Falloway, el resto fueron cartas comunes y raras que no desprecio de ninguna manera, estas cartas suman para poder llevarlas a nivel 8 y posteriormente 9. Las cantidades de copias necesarias para las gladius comunes y raras son enormes, y aunque las épicas y comunes tienen una taza de caída baja, la cantidad de copias necesarias para el nivel 3 o 4 son relativamente bajas (10 a 20 copias). El mejor ejemplo es esta Quora que ya pudimos levearla a nivel 4 y eso considerando que he abierto pocos packs y muy de vez en cuando.
