The Chaos Clash style tournament is returning!
Back when I was community manager I used to host weekly Splinterlands tournaments called Chaos Clashes. These single elimination tournaments featured only Chaos cards and were streamed live on my own channel or the Splinterlands official channels. It's been a long while since I've hosted one, but it's time to bring them back and make them even bigger with more prizes, including giveaways for the viewers!
This Wednesday, November 15th at 1 pm eastern time I will be using all of the curation rewards from my Hive marketing initiative to fund prizes for a livestream tournament. The prize pool and livestream giveaways will be set and tournament officially created after the curation rewards from that post have been finalized. I will also include any early curation rewards from this post, and any remaining curation rewards earned after the tournament is created will be put towards future tournaments.
In addition to various token prizes, the winner of this tournament will also get to mint their own Darth Squirrel! Darth Squirrel is a Splinterlands themed generative NFT of my channel mascot that I frequently raffle off during my giveaway livestreams. Giveaway streams have been few and far between during the bear market, but is the bear market finally coming to an end? Maybe we will be seeing more and more of Darth Squirrel in the near future?! The tournament will be streamed live on my Twitch channel, so be sure to go turn on your Twitch alerts and be on the lookout for the upcoming tournament! Note that the tournament will likely undergo a name change, signaling a change from the tournaments I ran as an official Splinterlands staff member. Thanks to the Splinterlands and Hive community for helping support this! I look forward to using this opportunity to teach the community more about various Hive features and make my case for expanding this type of marketing beyond existing Hive users to the rest of the web3 gaming community!
