When a Monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed.
50% chance of applying Affliction on the target

Stop annoying healers!
Good to counter players who would play healing monsters
Who have AFFLICTION?
At level 1, there are only 2 classes to counter heals.
Death and Water.
Therefore, SERPENTINE MYSTIC is a MUST to rent if you can only choose 1 as it can be apply to all decks as long as dragon is available for the ruleset.
How do you use AFFLICTION?
When notice players have FLESH GOLEM in previous play, and ruleset allow EARTH deck.
It's important to stop those healing to increase the chance of winning.
Below is also an example battle which i make use of AFFLICTION to overcome annoying Flesh Golem!
In conclusion
With most Splinters having 2 healers or self healing, AFFLICTION is a skill that you will need to have when time arise. Next post i will be doing how to overcome AFFLICTION if you are the one intending to heal.
