Wow! What a way to cap off the day of play in #Splinterlands... Let me back up for a moment and fill you in on a bit more of my journey...
Delaying On Purpose
Today I managed to snag my second ever Legendary card from a loot chest; this is a prime example of what #Play2Earn is all about.
The current Legendary reward card options are Djinn Biljka, Harklaw, and Djinn Oshannus.
I finished my daily quest with enough rank and power (some rented) to be in Silver I and that rewarded me with 4 daily loot chests. Typically I get one half-way acceptable reward and 2-3 very minor ones (or trash)...
Let me continue the tease a bit more by sharing the first 3 chests I opened:
As you can see, they weren't too bad, 28 DEC is actually pretty high for me (I am used to 1-3 DEC wasting a chest reward). Plus we already know the 4th chest has a Legendary card, I just haven't shared which one specifically just yet...

This Legendary reward card is currently valued at only $3.60, but as time goes on and especially once he goes out of print, the value should increase well beyond that. (Not too long ago he was at or near $20 for example.)
