I've been playing Splinterlands for awhile now, ever since it was under a different name and we resided at another spot on the blockchain. It's been a real blast building card collections and leveling up monsters to my hearts content. However, what's even better is to have the opportunity to give back.
We have some amazing content creators who are great at sharing helpful guides for the game and some very useful tips for new players. I've been buying SPT tokens from time to time, and noticed that with my recent purchase of 10K SPT, it put me over the 100,000 SPT tokens staked mark. So I decided to share this post so that it may inspire others to support the Splinterlands community as well.
Giving Back to the Community
In fact, it was those very guides which helped me early on correct the mistake I'd made in not investing in Summoners first. I'd been collecting monsters, and didn't realize that I was creating a bottleneck by not increasing the levels of my Summoners. That's what everything else depends on, and it was a very handy guide which taught me that.
I have a little of a quarter of those SPT tokens delegated to @monster-curator since I'm a busy student, and they do a great job of curating deserving content. The rest I have staked so that I can support other great authors, and share manual upvotes whenever I have some free time.
My goal is to try and have my upvotes show up in the top 20, and it feels good to be able to provide a small but meaningful upvote. But I won't stop there, and will continue to keep building my Splinterlands stake even after the airdrop is over. We're still in very early days with Splinterlands, and I honestly believe the best is yet to come! What are your plans for Splinterlands?
