Splinterlands - Claimed and surveyed my single land plot

Hello Splinterlandians,

with the land white paper and land 1.0 update by the Splinterlands team a lot of hype came into the land section. Now we have the possibility to survey our land and can finally see what we've got with our plots.

Some month ago I was the lucky person, who won the giveaway by @octavian1, where I received my one and only land plot. Thank you very much again for it! With the land 1.0 update I claimed and surveyed my land plot and I want to show you the result.

Claiming the land:

When claiming land plots was possible at the first time, I wanted to claim my plot in "Land of Prosperity", Region 58 "Moonfall", because I really liked the location of this region and its name. But unfortunately someone claimed the whole region for himself. So I had to look for another claim and decided to do it in the "Wild Northeast", Region 89 "Shiredale". It is located in the Drybone Badlands near the Drybone Citadel, which is a very cool location in my opinion. Probably this won't have any effect for the land mechanism, but I'm a little fan of the lore and really like this location.

Boosting the land:

Before I surveyed my land, I have bought a boost for sure. I decided to go with the "Building in a box" boost, because in my opinion it gives me the highest advantage of the three available boosts. By the way, I bought the boost with some DEC-Batteries, which I purchased when they were available, so I had another little discount.

Surveying the land:

When I surveyed my land plot I was very lucky. I got the "Badland" terrain, which is very typical in my region. That means, that fire and death monster will get a little bonus when working on land, while life and earth will get a hard discount. The rarity was "common" so there won't be any bonus for the rarity of the land plot. All that wasn't very special, but this comes now: The type of my land plot is "Magic - Water", which will give a 100% production boost for the "Secret of Praetoria Research". There was only a 12% chance for getting a magic land type, so I was very lucky with my single land plot.

Last words:

So as I said before, I was very lucky and happy with the postition and surveying of my land plot. Even though I have only one single plot, I'll hope to get some advantages in the future from it. Maybe it could be an advantage to have only one land plot, because I only have to stake cards/workers on one single plot and I will have better workers and can work more efficient. But we will see.
