Hello Splinterlandians! Although the new Conclave Arcana expansion was released several months ago, I haven't bought any cards from it yet. I generally do this with new expansions and cards, as the price of the cards is usually very high immediately after release. I also always want to get an idea of how good the cards actually are first. But now the time has finally come and I've bought my first Conclave Arcana cards. Regular readers of my blogs already know that I primarily play Modern, which is why I rely on the new cards.
As always, I bought four different cards, which I would like to write about today. I will present the cards in detail and explain why I bought them. I will also say a few words about the respective prices of the cards. But always remember that I upgrade my cards to the Silver League level cap at most, as my Archons cannot play at a higher level. Silverleaf Warlock
The first card I bought was Silverleaf Warlock. It is a common card from the Death Splinter, costs six mana, and is a magic attacker. At the first level, the card doesn't really stand out, as it doesn't have any abilities or outstanding stats yet. However, if you level up the card, it's clear that it focuses on speed and wants to dodge enemy attacks.
When you level up Silverleaf Warlock, it gains the abilities Swiftness (level 2), Backfire (level 5), and Blind (level 10). It also gains some stats, mainly health points and a single speed point.
In my opinion, the card definitely needs to be leveled up, as it's not really playable at the first level. That's why I decided to buy enough copies to upgrade it to my personal maximum level of 5. At that level, two abilities are added, creating a powerful combination with Lorkus.
As you can see, I even bought the card as a gold foil, as it wasn't much more expensive than the normal version. Five copies cost me $3.51, which I think is an absolutely fair price.
Janni Oracle
The next card I'm going to introduce is a rare card and belongs to the Life Splinter. It is Janni Oracle. She is a magic attacker that costs seven mana, making her moderately expensive to play. She is one of many magic attackers from the Life Splinter that has the Snipe ability. I haven't found anything about it in the lore, but I suspect it might even be related to Janni Rebel based on its name and appearance.
The upgrades mainly give the card attack points in terms of stats, which is anything but bad. The card gets a few abilities, namely Dodge (level 2), Strengthen (level 5), and Rebirth (level 8), which makes it very versatile.
I decided to buy enough copies of the card to upgrade it to the third level. This not only gives it the Dodge ability, but also a very important additional attack point. Upgrading to the fourth level is not worth it for me, as it only adds one more armor point.
For a rare card, the 14 copies of Janni Oracle were relatively inexpensive, costing me $3.36.
Cavewise Wayfinder
The third card I bought and would like to introduce to you is Cavewise Wayfinder. It is a common card from the Fire Splinter, costs six mana, and is a melee attacker. The most distinctive feature of this card is its new ability Reckless, which is usually a disadvantage, but can also be used to your advantage. To compensate for this, you get very strong stats and the card can perform optimally in the first position.
When you level up the card, it gains the abilities Void (level 5) and Enrage (level 10). In addition, it gains a lot of stats, which makes the card a very strong option even at higher levels.
Thanks to its armor and good speed rating, Cavewise Wayfinder is very good at defending against physical attacks. I really wanted to upgrade the card to level five, as this gives it the Void ability, making it a good counter against magical attackers.
I didn't own a copy of the card yet, so I bought 60 of them, which cost me $4.64. It's worth noting that most common cards from Conclave Arcana are in a similar price range.
Abyssal Elemental
The last card I bought is an epic card called Abyssal Elemental. It belongs to the Water Splinter, is a magic attacker, and costs six mana. What makes this card special is its new ability, Resurgence, which allows it to revive itself once with full stats and inflict one point of physical damage on all monsters. In my opinion, this is a very powerful ability, and I have seen the card used against me many times in battles.
The upgrades add fewer stats, except for the magic attack. In addition, the card gains the ability Blast (level 6) at the last level to further improve its offensive qualities.
Since Abyssal Elemental gains a magic attack on the second level, I bought enough copies to upgrade it once. Another upgrade wouldn't have been worth it, as it only adds one more life point.
The card isn't particularly cheap, but it was worth the price to me. Four copies cost me $3.75.
Last Words
I warmly welcome the four new cards to my team! I must say, it was quite difficult for me to decide which cards to buy and which not to buy. At first glance, the cards from Conclave Arcana seem very well balanced. It's especially difficult when it comes to deciding which Archon from Conclave Arcana I'm going to get. But that's a problem for Future-Flummi to worry about.

Hallo Splinterlandians! Obwohl die neue Conclave Arcana Erweiterung bereits vor einigen Monaten veröffentlicht wurde habe ich bisher noch keine Karten davon gekauft. Das mache ich bei neuen Erweiterungen und Karten allgemein so, da unmittelbar nach Release der Preis der Karten meistens sehr hoch ist. Außerdem möchte ich mir immer erstmal ein Bild der Karten machen, wie gut sie tatsächlich sind. Aber nun war es endlich soweit und ich habe die ersten Conclave Arcana Karten gekauft. Regelmäßige Leser meiner Blogs wissen ja bereits, dass ich primär Modern spiele, weshalb ich auf die neuen Karten angewiesen bin.
Ich habe wie immer vier verschiedene Karten gekauft, worüber ich heute schreiben möchte. Ich werde dabei die Karten im Detail und den Grund, weshalb ich sie gekauft habe, vorstellen. Ein paar Worte werde ich auch zum jeweiligen Preis der Karten verlieren. Denkt aber immer daran, dass ich meine Karten maximal auf das Silver League Level Cap upgrade, da meine Archons ein höheres Level nicht spielen können. Viel Spaß beim Lesen! 😊
Silverleaf Warlock
Die erste Karte, die ich gekauft habe, ist Silverleaf Warlock. Es ist eine gewöhnliche Karte aus dem Death Splinter, kostet sechs Mana und ist ein Magic Attacker. Auf dem ersten Level sticht die Karte noch nicht besonders hervor, da sie noch keine Abilities und keine herausragenden Stats hat. Levelt man die Karte lässt sich aber klar sagen, dass sie auf Geschwindigkeit abzielt und gegnerischen Angriffen ausweichen möchte.
Denn wenn man Silverleaf Warlock levelt, erhält sie die Abilities Swiftness (Level 2), Backfire (Level 5) und Blind (Level 10). Dazu kommen auch noch einige Stats, wobei es hauptsächlich Lebenspunkte und auch ein einzelner Geschwindigkeitspunkt sind.
Die Karte muss meiner Meinung nach unbedingt gelevelt werden, da sie auf dem ersten Level nicht wirklich spielbar ist. Daher habe ich mich dazu entschieden so viele Exemplare zu kaufen, dass ich sie auf mein persönliches Maximallevel 5 verbessern kann. Dort kommen zwei Abilities dazu und es wird eine starke Kombination mit Lorkus geben.
Wir ihr seht habe ich die Karte sogar als Gold Foil gekauft, da das nicht sehr viel teurer als die normale Version war. Fünf Exemplare haben mich 3,51$ gekostet, was ich für einen absolut fairen Preis halte.
Janni Oracle
Die nächste Karte, die ich vorstelle, ist eine seltene Karte und gehört zum Life Splinter. Es handelt sich hierbei um Janni Oracle. Es ist eine Magic Attackerin, welche sieben Mana kostet und damit mittelteuer zu spielen ist. Es ist eine der vielen Magic Attacker aus dem Life Splinter, welche die Ability Snipe besitzt. Ich habe zwar nichts in der Lore dazu gefunden, aber ich vermute sie könnte vom Namen und Aussehen her sogar verwandt mit Janni Rebel sein.
Durch die Upgrades erhält die Karte, was die Stats betrifft, hauptsächlich Angriffspunkte, was alles andere als schlecht ist. Abilities erhält die Karte einige, und zwar Dodge (Level 2), Strengthen (Level 5) und Rebirth (Level 8), was sie sehr vielseitig einsetzbar macht.
Ich habe mich dazu entschieden so viele Exemplare der Karte zu kaufen, dass ich sie auf das dritte Level verbessern konnte. Dadurch erhält sie nämlich nicht nur die Ability Dodge sondern auch einen sehr wichtigen weiteren Angriffspunkt. Ein Upgrade auf das vierte Level lohnt sich für mich nicht, da hier nur ein weiterer Rüstungspunkt dazu kommt.
Für seine seltene Karte waren die 14 Exemplare von Janni Oracle auch relativ billig und haben mich 3,36$ gekostet.
Cavewise Wayfinder
Die dritte Karte, die ich gekauft habe und euch vorstellen möchte, ist Cavewise Wayfinder. Es ist eine gewöhnliche Karte aus dem Fire Splinter, kostet sechs Mana und ist ein Melee Attacker. Charakteristisch für die Karte ist allen voran die neue Ability Reckless, welche meistens ein Nachteil ist, aber auch so genutzt werden kann, dass man selbst einen Vorteil daraus zieht. Als Ausgleich hierfür erhält man sehr starke Stats und die Karte kann optimal an der ersten Position performen.
Levelt man die Karte, erhält sie noch die Abilities Void (Level 5) und Enrage (Level 10). Außerdem kommen noch sehr viele Stats dazu, was die Karte auch im oberen Levelbereich zu einer sehr starken Option macht.
Aufgrund der Rüstung und des guten Geschwindigkeitswert kann sich Cavewise Wayfinder sehr gut gegen physische Angriffe verteidigen. Ich wollte die Karte unbedingt auf das fünfte Level verbessern, da sie dort noch die Ability Void dazu erhält und dadurch auch ein guter Konter gegen magische Angreifer ist.
Ich besaß noch kein Exemplar der Karte, deshalb habe ich 60 Stück davon gekauft, welche mich 4,64$ gekostet haben. Man muss sagen, dass sich die meisten gewöhnlichen Karten aus Conclave Arcana in einer ähnlichen Preisspanne bewegen.
Abyssal Elemental
Bei der letzten Karte, die ich gekauft habe, handelt es sich um eine epische Karte und zwar ist das Abyssal Elemental. Sie gehört zum Water Splinter, ist ein Magic Attacker und kostet sechs Mana. Was die Karte auszeichnet ist die neue Ability Resurgence, wodurch sie sich einmal selbst mit vollen Stats wiederbeleben kann und dabei allen Monstern einen physischen Schadenspunkt zufügt. Eine sehr starke Ability meiner Meinung nach und ich habe die Karte schon sehr oft in Battles gegen mich gesehen.
Durch die Upgrades kommen eher weniger Stats, ausgenommen vom Magic Attack, dazu. Zudem erhält die Karte auf dem letzten Level die Ability Blast (Level 6), um die offensiven Qualitäten nochmal zu verbessern.
Da Abyssal Elemental auf dem zweiten Level einen Magic Attack dazu bekommt, habe ich so viele Exemplare gekauft um sie einmal zu verbessern. Ein weiteres Upgrade hätte sich nicht wirklich gelohnt, da hier nur ein weiterer Lebenspunkt dazu kommt.
Die Karte ist nicht besonders billig, das war mir der Preis allerdings wert. Vier Exemplare haben mich 3,75$ gekostet.
Letzte Worte
Ich heiße die vier neuen Karten herzlich Willkommen in meinem Team! Ich muss sagen mir ist es ziemlich schwer gefallen zu entscheiden, welche Karten ich nun kaufe und welche eher nicht. Die Karten von Conclave Aracana sind auf den ersten Blick sehr gut gebalanced. Besonders schwierig wird es, wenn es darum geht, welche Archon aus Conclave Arcana ich mir holen werde. Aber um dieses Problem darf sich Zukunfts-Flummi kümmern.
