Last week I published a blog in which I bought and briefly presented some Rebellion cards, as I still lack them in the new Modern meta with Rebellion and Conclave Arcana and want to remain competitive there. Today there is a similar blog from me, because I went shopping for Rebellion cards again. And it probably won't be the last of these, as there are still some useful Rebellion cards that I don't have. Helheim Demon
The first card I was able to buy is Helheim Demon, one of the rare Rebellion cards from Death Splinter. I use the card a lot, mainly because of the good defensive stats and the ability Taunt. In combination with a monster with the ability Corrupted Healing, which there are currently two in Death Splinter, it can be very strong. In addition, Helheim Demon has the ability Flying from the start.
By upgrading the card, Helheim Demon mainly gains defensive stats, but also another Magic Attack attack point. The card also gains the Corrosive Ward (level 3) and Cripple (level 8) abilities. I think the stat upgrade is very good. The abilities are also quite nice, but nothing special in my opinion.
Because I play Helheim Demon very often and the card is not particularly expensive, I decided to buy enough copies so that I can upgrade and play it at level 3. There, as mentioned before, it gets the ability Corrosive Ward and some defensive stats.
Since I already had two copies of the card, I only needed 12 more. These cost me a total of 2.97$, which I don't think is a lot for a rare card.
Sanctus Vicar
The second card I bought and want to introduce to you is Sanctus Vicar. It's a rare promo card from the Water and Fire Splinter, costs six mana and is a ranged attacker. The card is characterized by the ability Cleanse Rearguard, which makes it a very strong card in battles with the ruleset Noxious Fumes. This is actually the only reason why I bought this card.
If you level Sanctus Vicar, the card gains a wide variety of stats and the abilities Cleanse (level 4) and Deflect (level 8). Above all, the upgrade to level 4 makes the card's supporter role even clearer and strengthens it in the Noxious Fumes ruleset.
As Sanctus Vicar is a relatively expensive promo card, as you'll see in a moment, I decided to buy him only once. In my opinion, only an upgrade to level 4 would have been really worthwhile and the costs were simply too high for me. Furthermore, the card is also very playable at the first level.
Because one copy of the card cost me a whole 3$. Of course, it's a pretty good promo card, but I think that's relatively expensive.
Harbinger of Chaos
The next card I'm going to introduce belongs to the Life Splinter and is Harbinger of Chaos. This is an epic card that costs eight mana and is therefore rather expensive to play. It is one of the many Magic attackers from the Life Splinter that has relatively many attack points, but also has solid defensive stats. In addition, the card has the Divine Shield ability from the first level.
The upgrades give the card mainly defensive stats, but another Magic Attack attack point is also added. In addition, Harbinger of Chaos gains the ability Immunity (level 3), which I think is very helpful in certain situations.
I bought nine copies of Harbinger of Chaos because I already had a card and was able to upgrade him to level 3. This is the maximum level of epic cards for me personally and I think the upgrade is relatively good, as the card can stand up very well in battles with the ruleset Noxious Fumes.
The nine copies of the card cost me 10.84$. That's not cheap, but for me it was worth the price.
Infernal Firestorm
The last card I bought is another epic card and it's Infernal Firestorm. It belongs to Fire Splinter, has very good defensive stats, but also a pretty high mana cost. In addition, Infernal Firestorm is a Magic Attacker. The defensive stats in combination with the ability Flank, which the card has from the first level, make it particularly good to play as a tank in the first position, as you can position a Melee Attacker behind it, which can attack from there.
The upgrades add all stats, such as Magic Attack, Armor, Health and Speed. The card also receives the Demoralize (level 6) ability as a final upgrade to weaken enemy melee attackers.
For the time being, I've decided to buy just one copy of the card and only play it on the first level. That way I can test out the card first and then buy more copies if necessary. A future upgrade to level 3 could be worthwhile, as Infernal Firestorm gets another magic attack there, among other things.
The one copy of Infernal Firestorm cost me $0.80, which in my opinion is relatively cheap for an epic card. There's not much you can do wrong.
Last Words
I would like to welcome the four new cards to my team! Especially with Sanctus Vicar and Harbinger of Chaos I should be very well positioned in battles with the ruleset Noxious Fumes, but the other two cards will also help me. In the near future I will buy some more Rebellion cards as I have some budget left and, as mentioned at the beginning, I am still missing some good Rebellion cards. Especially the legendary cards might be worth a look, but they are also quite expensive.

Helheim Demon
Die erste Karte, die ich kaufen konnte ist mit Helheim Demon eine der seltenen Rebellion Karten aus dem Death Splinter. Ich nutze die Karte sehr häufig, vor allem wegen den guten defensiven Stats und der Ability Taunt. In Verbindung mit einem Monster mit der Ability Corrupted Healing, welche es aktuell zwei im Death Splinter gibt, kann das sehr stark sein. Außerdem besitzt Helheim Demon von Beginn an noch die Ability Flying.
Durch das Verbessern der Karte erhält Helheim Demon hauptsächlich defensive Stats, aber auch einen weiteren Magic Attack Angriffspunkt. Zudem erhält die Karte noch die Ability Corrosive Ward (Level 3) und die Ability Cripple (Level 8) dazu. Die Upgrade der Stats finde ich sehr gut. Die Abilities sind auch ganz nett, aber nichts besonderes meiner Meinung nach.
Da ich Helheim Demon sehr häufig spiele und die Karte nicht besonders teuer ist, habe ich mich dazu entschieden so viele Exemplare zu kaufen, dass ich sie auf Level 3 verbessern und spielen kann. Dort erhält sie, wie zuvor erwähnt, die Ability Corrosive Ward und noch einige defensive Stats.
Da ich bereits zwei Exemplare der Karte hatte, habe ich nur noch 12 benötigt. Diese haben mich insgesamt 2.97$ gekostet, was ich nicht besonders viel für eine seltene Karte finde.
Sanctus Vicar
Die zweite Karte, die ich gekauft habe und euch vorstellen möchte, ist Sanctus Vicar. Es ist eine seltene Promo Karte aus dem Water und dem Fire Splinter, kostet sechs Mana und ist ein Ranged Attacker. Charakteristisch für die Karte ist die Ability Cleanse Rearguard, wodurch es eine sehr starke Karte in Battles mit dem Ruleset Noxious Fumes ist. Genau das ist auch eigentlich schon der einzige Grund, warum ich mir diese Karte gekauft habe.
Levelt man Sanctus Vicar, erhält die Karte die verschiedensten Stats und die Abilities Cleanse (Level 4) und Deflect (Level 8). Vor allem das Upgrade auf Level 4 macht die Supporter Rolle der Karte nochmal deutlich und verstärkt sie im Ruleset Noxious Fumes.
Da Sanctus Vicar eine relativ teure Promokarte ist, wie ihr gleich sehen werdet, habe ich mich entschieden ihn nur einmal zu kaufen. Meiner Ansicht nach hätte sich nur ein Upgrade auf Level 4 so wirklich gelohnt und dafür waren mir die Kosten dann einfach zu hoch. Des Weiteren ist die Karte auch auf dem ersten Level schon gut spielbar.
Denn ein Exemplar der Karte hat mich ganze 3$ gekostet. Natürlich ist es eine ziemlich gute Promokarte, aber das finde ich dann doch relativ teuer.
Harbinger of Chaos
Die nächste Karte, die ich vorstelle gehört zum Life Splinter und ist Harbinger of Chaos. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine epische Karte, welche acht Mana kostet und damit eher teuer zu spielen ist. Es ist einer der vielen Magic Attacker aus dem Life Splinter, der relativ viele Angriffspunkte hat, aber auch solide defensive Werte hat. Dazu kommt noch, dass die Karte vom ersten Level an die Ability Divine Shield besitzt.
Durch die Upgrades erhält die Karte hauptsächlich defensive Stats, aber auch ein weiterer Magic Attack Angriffspunkt kommt nach dazu. Zudem erhält Harbinger of Chaos noch die Ability Immunity (Level 3), welche ich in bestimmen Situationen für sehr hilfreich halte.
Ich habe neun Exemplare von Harbinger of Chaos gekauft, da ich bereits eine Karte besaß und ihn so auf Level 3 verbessern konnte. Das ist für mich persönlich das Maximallevel von epischen Karten und ich finde das Upgrade relativ gut, da die Karte in Battles mit dem Ruleset Noxious Fumes sehr gut bestehen kann.
Die neun Exemplare der Karte haben mich 10,84$ gekostet. Das ist nicht wenig, aber für mich war es der Preis wert.
Infernal Firestorm
Bei der letzten Karte, die ich gekauft habe, handelt es sich um eine weitere epische Karte und es ist Infernal Firestorm. Sie gehört zum Fire Splinter, hat sehr gute defensive Stats, dafür aber auch ziemlich hohe Manakosten. Außerdem handelt es sich bei Infernal Firestorm um einen Magic Attacker. Die defensiven Stats in Verbindung mit der Ability Flank, welche die Karte vom ersten Level an besitzt, machen sie besonders gut als Tank an der ersten Position spielbar, da man dahinter einen Melee Attacker positionieren kann, der von dort angreifen kann.
Durch die Upgrades kommen alle Stats, also Magic Attack, Armor, Lebenspunkte, und Geschwindigkeit dazu. Zudem erhält die Karte als letztes Upgrade noch die Ability Demoralize (Level 6), um gegnerische Melee Attacker zu schwächen.
Ich habe mich vorerst dazu entschieden erstmal nur ein Exemplar der Karte zu kaufen und sie dementsprechend nur auf dem ersten Level zu spielen. So kann ich die Karte erstmal austesten und dann gegebenenfalls weitere Exemplare kaufen. Ein zukünftiges Upgrade auf Level 3 könnte sich lohnen, da Infernal Firestorm dort unter anderem einen weiteren Magic Attack erhält.
Das eine Exemplar von Infernal Firestorm hat mich 0,80$ gekostet, was meiner Meinung nach relativ billig für eine epische Karte ist. Da kann man nicht viel falsch machen.
Letzte Worte
Ich heiße die vier neuen Karten herzlich Willkommen in meinem Team! Vor allem mit Sanctus Vicar und Harbinger of Chaos sollte ich in Battles mit dem Ruleset Noxious Fumes sehr gut aufgestellt sein, aber auch die anderen beiden Karten werden mir helfen. In der nahen Zukunft werde ich noch einige weitere Rebellion Karten kaufen, da ich etwas Budget übrig habe und, wie bereits zu Beginn erwähnt, mir noch einige gute Rebellion Karten fehlen. Vor allem ein Blick auf die legendären Karten könnte sich lohnen, allerdings sind diese auch ziemlich teuer.
