2 days ago 294,000 Dark Energy Chrystals suddenly disappeared from my Splinterlands account. I wasn't too afraid that I had been hacked, because there were still 70,000 Dark Energy Chrystals left. I already had a suspicion of what had happened, because I have been using the possibility of Peakmonsters to make offers for certain cards for some time. Some time ago I made an offer for the Shildbearer. I wanted to buy a total of 69 cards at a price of $5 each. The day before yesterday, this offer was triggered because someone put a Shildbearer on the market at 40 BCX on my terms. Because I had just enough money in the account, the software struck and booked me the Shieldbearer for 294,000 Dark Energy Chrystals.
That's not a bad deal, but it wasn't even on my radar anymore. I had actually been saving the DEC for a good deal on the market or for the new cards that come with Riftwatchers. For example, I wanted to treat myself to the Promo card from Riftwatchers directly. The whole thing is getting a bit more difficult now. My reserves are depleted because I have exchanged all my liquid hive and most of my vouchers into SPS. I did this because I expect the price of SPS to go up quite a bit when Riftwatchers is released. In total, I have over 10,000 SPS available for the purchase of Riftwatchers Booster Packs. We'll see how the price develops. But I actually want to buy at least 100 Rift Watcher Booster Packs. That way I could also achieve Maverick status.
So now I have a Shildbearer with 40 BCX. At least it matches my previous Shildbearer which also has "only" 40 BCX. I now have a total of 86 BCX because I have 2 more cards that have a total of 6 BCX. I'm going to combine them all so that I can get a Shildbearer at level 7, because it has more armour and attack power. Then I only need 29 BCX to get to the maximum level. That is the long-term goal, because at the maximum level the shieldbearer gets the ability "Return Fire", which means that he can then throw arrows back. With this ability, it forms an extremely strong wall in any life deck and my team of Shieldbearer, Warrior of Peace, Truthspeaker and Chanseus the Great would become even more powerful. Already I use the Shield Citizen regularly, even though it's only at level 5. At level 8, my enemies' puny attacks will seem like toothpicks thrown against a wall of pure steel.
Still, I mourn the $200 somewhat. When I see what nice cards I could have bought for $200. Deeplurker I could have maxxed for $80 already. Golden legendary cards are available for less than 40$. So my tip to you if you work bids at Peakmonsters: Check them from time to time. Don't wake up all of a sudden and find your DEC wallet has been "looted ".

vor 2 Tagen verschwanden plötzlich 294.000 Dark Energy Chrystals aus meinem Splinterlands Account. Ich hatte keine große Angst, dass ich gehackt worden war, denn es waren immerhin noch 70.000 Dark Energy Chrystals übrig. Ich hatte schon einen Verdacht was passiert war, denn ich nutze schon seit einiger Zeit die Möglichkeit über Peakmonsters Angebote für bestimmte Karten abzugeben. So habe ich vor einiger Zeit für den Shildbearer ein Angebot abgegeben. Ich wollte insgesamt 69 Karten zu einem Preis von $5 pro Stück kaufen. Vorgestern wurde dieses Angebot ausgelöst, denn irgendjemand hat einen Shildbearer zu meinen Bedingungen mit 40 BCX auf dem Markt eingestellt. Weil ich gerade genügend Geld auf dem Account liegen hatte, schlug die Software zu und buchte mir für 294.000 Dark Energy Chrystals den Shieldbearer ein.
Das ist zwar kein schlechtes Geschäft, aber ich hatte das gar nicht mehr auf dem Schirm. die DEC hatte ich mir eigentlich für ein gutes Angebot auf dem Markt oder für die neuen Karten aufgespart, die mit Riftwatchers kommen. Zum Beispiel wollte ich mir gerne die Promo-Karte von Riftwatchers direkt gönnen. Das Ganze wird jetzt etwas schwieriger. Meine Reserven sind aufgebraucht, denn ich habe all meine flüssigen Hive und einen Großteil meiner Voucher in SPS umgetauscht. Das habe ich getan, weil ich erwarte, dass der Kurs von SPS noch gehörig ansteigen könnte, wenn jetzt Riftwatchers veröffentlicht wird. Insgesamt stehen mir über 10.000 SPS für den Kauf von Riftwatchers Booster Packs zur Verfügung. Mal sehen, wie sich der Preis noch entwickelt. Aber ich möchte eigentlich mindestens 100 Rift Watcher Booster Packs kaufen. So könnte ich auch den Maverick Status erreichen.
Jetzt habe ich also einen Shildbearer mit 40 BCX. Der passt zumindest zu meinem bisherigen Shildbearer der auch „nur“ 40 BCX hat. Insgesamt komme ich jetzt auf 86 BCX, weil ich noch 2 weitere Karten habe, die zusammen 6 BCX besitzen. Die werde ich alle vereinen, damit ich einen Shildbearer auf Level 7 bekomme, denn der hat mehr Rüstung und Angriffskraft. Dann fehlen mir nur noch 29 BCX, um aufs Maximallevel zu kommen. Das ist das langfristige Ziel, denn auf dem Maximallevel bekommt der Schildbürger die Fähigkeit „Return Fire“, das heißt, dass er dann Pfeile zurückschleudern kann. Mit dieser Fähigkeit bildet er eine extrem starke Mauer in jedem Life-Deck und mein Team aus Shieldbearer, Warrior of Peace, Truthspeaker und Chanseus the Great würde noch mächtiger werden. Schon jetzt setze ich den Schildbürger regelmäßig ein, obwohl er nur auf Level 5 ist. Auf Level 8 werden die kümmerlichen Attacken meiner Feinde wie Zahnstocher wirken, die man gegen eine Mauer aus purem Stahl wirft.
Trotzdem trauere ich den $200 etwas nach. Wenn ich sehe, was für schöne Karten ich für $200 hätte kaufen können. Deeplurker hätte ich schon für 80$ maxxen können. Goldene legendäre Karten gibt es für weniger als 40$. Daher mein Tipp an euch wenn ihr Bids bei Peakmonsters arbeitet: Überprüft sie von Zeit zu Zeit. Nicht dass ihr plötzlich erwacht und eure DEC-Wallet „geplündert“ wurde.
