This past week has been excellent progress on the Splinterlands account. As a whole I feel like everything is starting to step forward and I am quite happy seeing the bigger picture coming together. What I am particularly happy about is everything here has been purchased using funds earned within HIVE. My last two blogs did particularly well and the funds have been put to good use.
Following the outline I laid out last week here, I have set myself some goals within Splinterlands and it is time to share progress against them.
Goal 1:
Level Chaos Legion Summoners to "Silver level"

I am very happy with my progress here and this is where things will explode into action. As it stands, I am now more focussed on completing this goal so having seen the numbers, I know I need 16 BCX... which according to Peakmonsters is:
This now feels very achievable. So I will now very likely put my full attention toward this goal. I would like to complete this goal in the next two weeks or so.
Having received a small boost (large for my account in all honesty) due to the sale of a Gold Foil card on $WOO, I reinvested those funds into my most expensive Summoner set, taking them to Level 3. The reasoning, Djinn Oshannus was already levelled to max for Silver so I wasn't utilising them to full effect. And to be honest, I felt that Kelya was going to be the biggest grind to purchase and level up- also I like the water deck...
I did consider repurchasing Quix The Devious, but I felt I'd get more out of Kelya being levelled at this moment. It does mean I still do not own a Dragon summoner but we can cross that bridge later.
I do miss having the option of a Dragon deck and I already have the basic reward cards of a Dragon deck ready to go and levelled to where they need to be for my current leagues. I would need to add some Legendary Dragon options such as the Void Dragon, Desert Dragon (Totally underrated card!) and the Carnage Titan. For now, I'll set my eyes on a Quix to accompany my current solutions but just know the dragon legendaries will not escape my capture for too long!
Goal 2:
Level up most used monsters for Chaos Legion to Max for Level 3 Summoners
The original goal of owning all Chaos Common Gold Foil cards has been met so I am now updating this to begin levelling the most used cards to max for Level 3 Summoners. I will prioritise the cards with the most useful abilities or stat changes that I want to take advantage of. This is not a priority any more which is why this is Goal 2 now but I will seek good opportunities on the market to purchase as and when they arise.

I'd like to focus on Goal 1 first and then this goal immediately after. I am looking at trying to maximise my rewards where best possible and levelling the missing BCX is certainly going to help with this and will aid toward my longer term goal of pushing into Gold. I have made a small start to this goal as you can see above.
But for now, I'd like to consolidate Silver cards and get some more reward shares. The priority will be on the most used cards for the time being. This is to just be as cost efficient as possible. Looking at the costs of a levelled Rare lineup, I do not anticipate it taking more than 2 weeks at most to complete this, with the exception being the Gold Foil rares which I'll push down the line a little bit unless prices are real juicy.
As I am focussing on just Silver, I do not need to level the Summoners as they are meeting criteria already (prices are just too good to refuse right now) but this will also allow me to unlock some key skills as with the Pelacor Conjurer and the Goblin Psychic. Either way, Rares and Epics are on the agenda
Goal 3:
This is the biggest goal so it is split into separate parts
Purchase every Chaos Legion card
I now own all Common and Rare cards within Chaos Legion. The commons are all Gold Foil with a bunch more that are regular foil. I did this to maximise my rewards for the Silver account and I think it is beginning to bear fruit so I am happy in this regard.
Note: I realised I am missing Arkemis The Bear, so I will work to rectify this on my account soon.
Own every Epic card in either GF or RF
The cards below are the only missing pieces here. I'll be looking to grab these once summoners are complete. I'll grab the ones I see as most useful so most likely Wave Brood, Magi of Chaos and Tusk the Wide. This will be met as part of goal two but does include a few cards which I am only collecting to complete the set. Temporal Master for example is not high on my agenda and will likely just grab it if a time requires it in the future.

Dragon Cards -
I have really enjoyed using the Dragon cards I have rented and I figured this would be a great deck to expand my collecton. I will be doing a full rental for next season for the Silver account as well going forward.
I already have the majority of the reward cards levelled up to the appropriate earning levels for Silver so I'd like to explore this as a big addition to my lineup. In particular, Desert Dragon will be a key pick up alongside Carnage Titan. The biggest challenge will be getting hold of Quix The Devious. I was quite lucky early on to get a copy in a pack. I did sell that card to begin my levelling journey for Obsidian. I do regret that choice now but in all honesty, I am happy to add this back to the goals.
Own all Chaos Legion Legendary Summoners - 4 remain (all of them!)
While these goals appear quite lofty at first glance, I am enjoying chipping away at the long term picture and I fully believe this will set me up for the future of Splinterlands in whichever direction the game continues to move.
Goal 4:
Eventually I'd like to purchase land as well. So starting with the next payout in two days time, I'll be allocating 10% of all blog earnings to my HBD saving fund. I'll be using this purchase the land and will top it up when the time comes.
These goals will seem very lofty especially when read from the bottom up. I intend to complete these goals over the next few months and I am happy to be realistic where I need to. If land is not possible for 6+ months then so be it. But I know I can make goals 1 and 2 happen in quite a quick time frame.
Whilst there is no mention of it here, I tend to rotate being Liquid and 50/50 (HP/HBD) rewards, so throughout this journey I will be working on my HIVE portfolio to ensure when the next bull run comes (and it will arrive at some point) I will be ready like Arkemis The Bear to launch out of hibernation.
