This is a continuation of the Lore expansion on Splinterlore. Since it's been a while since the weekly community engagement challenge has created something with this theme, I decided to return to the social challenge. That is, to try to diversify a bit from the repetitive content of battles and more battles in Splinterlands.
Today, I’ll talk about a race that, to many in the lands of Splinterlands, may be a strange form of life: the Oozes.
🔺What are Oozes?
Well, if you’re imagining something gelatinous and slimy, guess what, you’re absolutely right. Oozes are invertebrate, gelatinous creatures with no defined shape, no limbs, or discernible physical characteristics. They are slow, but powerful in a way that can catch anyone off guard. Their ability to increase in volume and regenerate destroyed body parts makes them almost indestructible.
Sounds pretty disgusting, huh?
But that’s the beauty of this race. OOoOOoo, as they call themselves, are almost faceless creatures, but their stories and abilities are vast.
Just imagine the power of a creature that can consume and absorb anything in its path. They are like nature's unexpected force of life. And that's exactly what we’re talking about here, these creatures with no limits who can emerge from anywhere in Splinterlands, creating chaos and exploring new territories.
These gelatinous beings may not look like great warriors or powerful wizards, but in reality, their strength lies in their unpredictable and destructive nature, of course.
They represent something beyond the chaos we know in daily battles.
By invading new lands and consuming everything in their path, they create a new kind of conflict, something that can't be controlled with common strategies, like a direct attack or a powerful card. They are unpredictable, and that makes them a force to be reckoned with.
What fascinates me about Oozes is how they exemplify the concept of uncontrolled destruction. There’s no telling what will happen when one of these creatures enters a new territory. They can grow, spread, and consume everything around them, until, in the end, nothing remains but a gelatinous mass of chaos.
🔺 Creeping Ooze
Now, let’s focus on one of the most fascinating creatures of this race

For a long time, the Bren-Ha volcano was a place of pure despair and destruction. Fire, smoke, and lava spewed out of its cracks nonstop. But suddenly, a small, gelatinous, greenish creature began to crawl through the area a Creeping Ooze. This little creature doesn’t hurry. It moves slowly, slowly, but it’s impossible to stop. What makes it even more dangerous is the fact that it absorbs everything in its path, as if it were a massive gelatinous black hole. Now, the worst part? It managed to leave the region and board a ship, escaping Mortis, bringing its threat to new places.
Imagine the scene.
A sea of calm waters, a boat sailing peacefully, and suddenly, what looks like a simple blob of gelatin transforms into a growing nightmare. And, of course, no one can stop its expansion. There’s no way. It goes wherever it wants and swallows everything.
And the worst part is, it’s not the only one of its kind. There’s something else, something else that was summoned in a very special ceremony.

Isso é uma continuação da expansão de Lore em Splinterlore. Como já faz um bom tempo que o desafio de engajamento da comunidade semanal não cria algo com esse tema, eu decidi retornar no desafio social. Isso é, tentar diversificar um pouco o conteúdo repetitivo de batalhas e mais batalhas em Splinterlands.
Hoje vou falar sobre uma raça que, para muitos das terras de Splinterlands pode ser uma forma de vida estranha, os Oozes.
🔺O que são os Oozes?
Bom, se você está imaginando algo gelatinoso e viscoso, adivinhe, está mais do que certo. Os Oozes são criaturas invertebradas gelatinosa, sem forma definida, sem membros ou características físicas discerníveis. Eles são lentos, mas poderosos de um jeito que pode pegar qualquer um de surpresa. Sua habilidade de aumentar de volume e restaurar partes do corpo que foram destruídas os torna quase indestrutíveis.
Parece bem nojento, né?
Mas é essa a beleza dessa raça. OOoOOoo, como eles se dizem, são criaturas quase sem rosto, mas suas histórias e capacidades são enormes.
Imagina só o poder de uma criatura que pode consumir e absorver qualquer coisa que esteja em seu caminho. Eles são como o imprevisto da natureza da vida. E é exatamente disso que vamos falar aqui, dessas criaturas que não têm limites e que podem surgir de qualquer parte de Splinterlands, criando caos e explorando novos territórios.
Esses seres gelatinosos podem não ter a aparência de grandes guerreiros ou magos poderosos, mas, na verdade, sua força reside em sua natureza imprevisível e destrutiva é claro.
Eles representam algo além do caos que conhecemos nas batalhas diárias.
Ao invadir novas terras e consumir tudo em seu caminho, eles estão criando um novo tipo de conflito, algo que não pode ser controlado com estratégias comuns, como um ataque direto ou uma carta poderosa. Eles são imprevisíveis, e isso faz deles uma força a ser respeitada.
O que me fascina nos Oozes é como eles exemplificam o conceito de destruição sem controle. Não há como dizer o que vai acontecer quando uma dessas criaturas entra em um novo território. Eles podem crescer, se espalhar e consumir tudo ao seu redor, até que, no final, nada reste a não ser uma massa gelatinosa de caos.
🔺 Creeping Ooze
Agora, vamos focar em uma das criaturas mais fascinantes dessa raça.

Por muito tempo, o vulcão Bren-Ha foi um lugar de puro desespero e destruição. Fogo, fumaça e lava saíam de suas fendas sem parar. Mas, de repente, uma pequena criatura de aspecto gelatinosa e esverdeada começou a se arrastar por ali, uma Creeping Ooze. Essa pequena criatura não tem pressa. Ela vai se movendo devagar, devagar, mas é impossível detê-la. O que torna esse bicho ainda mais perigoso é o fato de ele absorver tudo em seu caminho, como se fosse um imenso buraco negro gelatinosa. Agora, o pior de tudo? Ela conseguiu sair da região e embarcar em um barco, fugindo de Mortis, trazendo sua ameaça para novos lugares.
Imagine a cena.
Um mar de águas tranquilas, uma embarcação navegando pacificamente, e, de repente, o que parece um simples ponto de gelatina se transforma em um pesadelo em crescimento. E, é claro, ninguém pode impedir a sua expansão. Não tem como. Ela vai para onde quiser e engole tudo.
E o pior é que ela não é a única do seu tipo. Há algo mais, algo mais que foi convocado em uma cerimônia muito especial.
