Hi Guys! Welcome to my weekly Splinterlands Art Contest Entry,
For this week, I decided to submit Gabalano Soldier, a Fire Element Monster with Sneak and Ambush Ability. Although it only has one melee attack, it is great in battle because of its Ambush ability, which allows it to shoot first at the start of the battle. Its Sneak ability is also useful for targeting enemy monster units positioned in the back.
It only consumes 3 mana, so it's easy to fit into battle, and if you use Tarsa, who gives +1 melee attack, you can surely crush the opponent.

I sourced the picture of Gabalano Soldier from the Splinterlands Lore in the Market Place.

I started by sketching a man holding a baseball bat, as Gabalano has a baseball bat.
After that, I adjusted the clothing from the hat to the coat, down to the buttons of his trench coat.
Once I completed the final outline, I colored the base using the image from its Splinterlands lore as reference.
After indicating the base color, I proceeded to shade. It's simple to shade, just use the dark and light colors of your base shade for highlights.
After finishing shading, I proceeded with the effects. I decided to add flames since it's a fire element, so I created a flame effect using the blur and smudge brush.
I chose black as the background color to emphasize the flames on its body.
