Phantom of the Abyss - My Splinterlands Weekly Art Challenge Entry

First of all, I would like to say Wow! all the entries are getting better every week. Noticing this also pushed me to work harder on my art.

I think this is my best entry so far. because of this contest, I am starting to develop my drawing skills.

For this week's challenge, I picked Phantom of the Abyss. I like this card a lot, but due to a lack of knowledge before, I have sold it after gaining a 200% yield, not knowing it would reach its current price.

I like the stats of Phantom. It has 3 magic attack, 6 speed, and 7 health which makes it a strong card. I also like its flying and its evade ability.

I looked online for a body pose reference and I think this one fits the Phantom

Applications used

Medibang - for drawing
Photoshop - for adjusting colors
Cap cut - for animation
Giphy - for file conversion

Steps

Medibang

I uploaded the reference image in Medibang and created the image layer by layer. total of 25 layers for this whole artwork. I merged the layers that consist of the phantom parts and the layers that consist of the background

Photoshop

I imported the Medibang files in my photoshop

and adjusted their brightness and contrast.

I added a plastic wrap effect to make it appear glossy

I saved the following images separately to animate them in Cap cut.

I uploaded the background image and gave it an exploding effect

I overlayed the Phantom image and gave it a wavy effect.

I uploaded the file to Giphy to convert it to a GIF file
