Fog of War
This week we are going to analyze the Fog of War condition, which means that all our creatures lose the abilities of Sneak, Snipe and Opportunist, so we will avoid playing melee cards with these abilities because they will not be able to attack if they are not in the first position. In this condition we will not have to cover our backs or the creatures with the lowest life, so the creatures will die from the first to the last position. We will try to put the first creatures with a lot of life and armor, and we will have to play with cards with magic and ranged attack.
Esta semana vamos a analizar la condición de Fog of War, lo que significa que todas nuestras criaturas pierden las habilidades de Sneak, Snipe y Oportunista, así que evitaremos jugar cartas de melé con estas habilidades porqué no podrán atacar si no están en la primera posición. En estas condiciones tampoco tendremos que cubrirnos las espaldas ni las criaturas con menor vida, así que las criaturas irán muriendo desde la primera hasta la última posición. Intentaremos poner las primeras criaturas con mucha vida y escudo, y tendremos que jugar con cartas con ataque mágico y a distancia.
Ruleset
In this case the battle conditions were Fog of War, Aim True and Taking sides. It is a 39 mana battle where all Splinters can be used except Earth and Dragon.
En este caso las condiciones de batalla eran Fog of War, Aim True y Taking sides. Es una batalla de 39 puntos de maná en la que se pueden utilizar todos los Splinters excepto Tierra y Dragón.
Line up
Summoner - Kelya Frendul
In this case I had doubts between using Grandmaster Rathe which is a great summoner in these conditions because I foresee a lot of magic attack. However, the life creatures that I have don't have much life and armor, so I finally opted to use Kelya Frendul because I have many creatures with great life, armor and attack.
En este caso tenía dudas entre usar a Grandmaster Rathe el cual es un gran invocador en estas condiciones porqué preveo bastante ataque mágico. No obstante las criaturas de vida que tengo no tienen mucha vida y armadura, así que finalmente me decanto para utilizar a Kelya Frendul porqué tengo muchas criaturas con gran vida, escudo y ataque.
1- Diemonshark
It is the tank that I use the most playing with water, fast, with a lot of attack, life, armor and it also has a counterattack. I think it will still hold up long enough even if the opponent use magic attack.
Es el tanque que más utilizo jugando con agua, rápido, con mucho ataque, vida, armadura y además tiene contrataque. Creo que aguantará bastante aún que el rival utilice ataque mágico.
2- Flying Squid
In this case I have looked for a second card with a good amount of life that also has a good attack and can attack from the second position. When my first tank drops I hope it still holds up long enough.
En este caso he buscado una segunda carta con una buena cantidad de vida que además tiene buen ataque y puede atacar desde la segunda posición. Cuando caiga mi primer tanque espero que siga aguantando bastante.
3- Djinn Oshannus
One of my favorite cards, it's a very good tank, it has a good magic attack, good speed and if the opponent uses a lot of magic attack and kills my first two tanks, he has Void and can dodge magic attacks. I think with these three tanks I am pretty much covered.
Una de mis cartas favoritas, es un buenísimo tanque, tiene buen ataque mágico, buena velocidad y si el rival utiliza mucho ataque mágico y acaba con mis dos primeros tanques este tiene Void y puede esquivar ataques mágicos. Creo que con estos tres tanques estoy muy cubierto.
4- Angelic Mandarin
In this case, I think that his healing ability will have no effect because all the attacks will be directed at the first creature, but since I expect a lot of magic attack, this ability to reduce enemy magic damage will be very useful to extend the life of my tanks.
En este caso creo que su habilidad de sanación no tendrá efecto porqué todos los ataques irán dirigidos a la primera criatura, pero como espero bastante ataque mágico esta habilidad de reducir el daño mágico enemigo me será muy útil para alargar la vida de mis tanques.
5- Swamp Spitter
As with the previous card it helps me protect from magical attacks, this one will help me protect against the rest of the attacks with the armor regeneration.
Como con la carta anterior me ayuda a protegerme de los ataques mágicos, ésta me ayudará a protegerme contra el resto de los ataques con la regeneración de armadura.
6- Igor Darkspear
With the little mana I have left I think it's the best option. It has 3 range damage and also has the ability to Knock, which I find very important to help me defend against rival attacks and prevent them from healing.
Con el poco maná que me queda creo que es la mejor opción. Tiene 3 puntos de daño a distancia y además tiene la habilidad de Knockear, la cual me parece muy importante para ayudarme a defender de ataques rivales y a evitar que estos se puedan sanar.

In this battle, the rival's strategy has been to use a summoner that adds one point of armor but above all makes magical attacks have to lower the shield before attacking life. If I'm able to kill this tank the rest should be easy because the rest of his creatures have very low health.
En esta batalla la estrategia del rival ha sido utilizar un invocador que suma un punto de armadura pero que sobretodo hace que los ataques mágicos tengan que bajar el escudo antes de atacar a la vida. Creo es muy buen invocador para estas condiciones en las que a priori se espera bastante ataque mágico. A pesar de ello su invocador es un nivel inferior al máximo, así que mis criaturas podrán ser de más nivel y espero que me facilite la victoria. El rival ha utilizado un muy buen tanque con alta vida y escudo y con sanación, además de dos criaturas que le sanan la vida y el escudo. Si soy capaz de acabar con este tanque el resto debería ser fácil porqué el resto de las criaturas tienen muy poca vida.
Round 1
By the end of the first round I've decreased the life of his first tank and I have very fast creatures, so I'm hoping I can get it down quickly before it can heal.
Al final de la primera ronda he bajado bastante la vida de este tanque y tengo criaturas muy rápidas, así que espero que pueda bajarlo rápidamente antes de que pueda sanarse.
Round 2
In this round I managed to quickly finish off the rival Uriel. I have been lucky because my Igor has managed to knock him out both times he has attacked, thus preventing him from healing. I think that from now on it will be very easy to end up winning the game, the rival creatures have very little life.
En esta ronda he conseguido acabar rápidamente con el Uriel rival. He tenido suerte en que mi Igor ha conseguido knockearlo las dos veces que ha atacado, evitando así que se pueda sanar. Creo que a partir de ahora será muy fácil acabar ganando la partida, las criaturas rivales tienen muy poca vida.
Round 3
In this round I have killed two rival creatures and the enemy has killed my tank, but I still have two other creatures with a lot of life that will not be easy to kill.
En esta ronda he acabado con dos criaturas rivales y el enemigo ha acabado con mi tanque, pero aún tengo otras dos criaturas con mucha vida que no serán fáciles de matar.
Round 4
In this round I have lowered another rival creature and I have left its Venari with only 1 life point. When I kill him it will only have one creature left that can't attack, so it's only a matter of time to win the battle.
En esta ronda he bajado otra criatura rival y he dejado a su Venari con sólo 1 punto de vida. A la que lo baje ya solo le quedará una criatura que no podrá atacar, así que es solo cuestión de tiempo acabar ganando la batalla.
Round 5
I quickly finished off his Venari and his last creature this round. In the end, I ended up winning more easily than it seemed from the beginning.
Acabé rápidamente con su Venari y con su última criatura en esta ronda. Finalmente acabé ganando más fácilmente de lo que parecía desde un principio.
Conclusions
The truth is that my strategy has worked very well, I have promoted using creatures with high life and armor in the first positions in addition to having a very good attack and speed. The opponent only used a tank with good armor and life, but once I managed to finish this tank the rest of the creatures fell easily.
La verdad es que mi estrategia ha funcionado muy bien, he potenciado usar criaturas con alta vida y escudo en las primeras posiciones además de tener un muy buen ataque y velocidad. El rival únicamente utilizó un tanque con buen escudo y vida, pero una vez conseguí acabar con este tanque el resto de las criaturas cayeron fácilmente.
