Hello, Splinterlands friends, this week I'm going to tell you about Skyspire Leopard, a card I've rarely used in the game but that has good stats and can be useful if the conditions are right.
Hola amigos de Splinterlands, esta semana voy a hablaros de Skyspire Leopard una carta que he usado poco en el juego pero que tiene unas buenas estadísticas y podemos sacar si las condiciones son propicias para ello.
SKYSPIRE LEOPARD
With the number of cards available in the game, there are some that we don't pay much attention to. Skyspire Leopard is one of them. A card with few abilities and very average stats that honestly doesn't stand out in combat, but that in certain circumstances we can use and get the best out of it.
Let's look at its attributes and abilities.
Con la cantidad de cartas que tenemos disponibles en el juego hay cartas que no les prestamos mucha atención. Skyspire Leopard es una de ellas. Una carta con pocas habilidades y unas estadísticas muy normales que sinceramente en el combate no resalta, pero que en determinadas circunstancias podemos usar y sacar lo mejor de ella.
Veamos sus atributos y habilidades.
Skyspire Leopard is a Rare card from the Life Splinter with a mana cost of only 5 points. Among its attributes, its 5 points of melee attack, 2 points of speed, and its 4 points of shield combined with its 7 points of health stand out. All of this at its maximum level 8.
And now let's look at its abilities.
Skyspire Leopard es una carta de rareza Rara del Splinter Vida y con un coste de maná de tan sólo 5 puntos. Entre sus atributos destaca sus 5 puntos de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, sus 2 puntos de velocidad y sus 4 puntos de escudo combinado con sus 7 puntos de vitalidad. Todo ello a su máximo nivel 8.
Y ahora veamos sus habilidades.
RETALIATE
At level 2, Skyspire Leopard learns the Retaliate ability, giving it a 50% chance to counterattack if it takes melee damage.

VOID ARMOR
At level 4, it will learn the Void Armor ability, which makes all magic attacks target the shield first.

And now let's look at one of my battles with Skyspire Leopard. This battle, with only 23 available mana points, is perfect for using this card in the first position to tank the initial blows from our opponent. Additionally, its Void Armor ability will allow us to withstand magic attacks.

Este combate de tan solo 23 puntos de maná disponible es perfecta para usar en primera posición ésta carta y hacer de tanque antes los golpes iniciales de nuestro rival. Además su habilidad Void Armor nos permitirá aguantar los ataques mágicos.

In this battle, I'll use the summoner Franz Ruffmane, who gives me +2 shield and allows me to use one of my Gladius cards. That shield advantage is crucial for Skyspire Leopard to endure on the battlefield long enough for my strategy, which relies on the essential Aves Sturgis, to take effect.
The battle begins with attacks from both sides, ending with the defeat of Blinding Reflector, who can do little against the powerful magic attacks received along with the 5-point damage attack from Skyspire Leopard.
In the second round, I continue to withstand my enemy's blows. The powerful Nimbledook Explorer along with Helmet Kharafat deal extraordinary damage to my enemy, and finally, in this turn, I also destroy Uraeus.
In the third turn, I end the life of my enemy's Aves Sturgis, but they still manage to destroy Skyspire Leopard with the powerful attacks of their Nimbledook Explorer. Even so, I have a clear advantage that my enemy will hardly be able to overturn.
Finally, in the fourth and last turn, the successive attacks of Helmet Kharafat, Aves Sturgis, and Nimbledook Explorer end the life of Nimbledook Explorer and conclude the battle with a decisive victory.
En este combate usaré el invocador Franz Ruffmane que me proporciona +2 de escudo y el poder usar una de mis cartas Gladius. Esa ventaja en el escudo es fundamental para que Skyspire Leopard aguante en el campo de batalla el tiempo suficiente para que mi estrategia que cuenta con el imprescindible Aves Sturgis surta efecto.
Comienza el combate el que se suceden los ataques por ambos bandos y que termina con la baja de Blinding Reflector que poco puede hacer contra los poderosos ataques mágicos recibidos junto con el ataque de 5 puntos de daño de Skyspire Leopard.
En el segundo sigo aguantando los golpes de mi enemigo, la poderosa Nimbledook Explorer junto con Helmet Kharafat hacen un daño extraordinario a mi enemigo y finalmente en este turno destruyo también a Uraeus.
En el tercer turno termino con la vida de Aves Sturgis de mi enemigo pero aún así consigue destruir a Skyspire Leopard con los ataques poderosos de su Nimbledook Explorer. Aún así tengo una clara ventaja que difícilmente podrá dar la vuelta mi enemigo.
Por último, en el cuarto y último turno los ataques sucesivos de Helmet Kharafat, Aves Sturgis y Nimbledook Explorer, acaban con la vida de Nimbledook Explorer y dan por terminado el combate con una victoria contundente.
