Hi everyone! This is my first post on Splintertalk but I've been playing Splinterlands since July 2021. To me, the best way to invest early as a bronze or silver level player is by finding the cheapest power. Power is an essential early investment as it is what allows players to move up into higher leagues and earn more DEC (and soon to be SPS) per battle. You will also earn more daily loot chests and more season end rewards by being in higher leagues which will further increase your earning potential. When buying power, you obviously want to get the best bang for your buck. To do this, go to Peakmonsters.com and then go to the "Buy" tab at the top of the page. Next, click on the "Compare" button near the top right of the page. Then in the "Compare by" dropdown box, select "Best CP/Cost Ratio." This will show you how much CP you can acquire for a dollar by buying specific cards. The higher the ratio, the better deal it is for you. If all you are interested in is power, then just go buy the cheapest option out there, but I would recommend looking at the top 10 cheapest and choosing a monster that will also add utility to your deck and that you could see yourself playing on a daily basis while doing your battles. For me, Djinn Chwala fit that bill. It's not the absolute cheapest from a CP/Cost Ratio perspective but it's close to top 10 cheapest and is a great card that I use every day.
