When I started this series, I anticipated that I would be able to buy and sell more cards. I'm still in the acquiring phase right now. The DEC that I rack up with wins is better than nothing, but it's not a huge money maker. I'm finding that I generally make more by posting weekly battle challenges here on peakd for the curators.
I was lucky enough to win another Chaos Legion pack. I sold that for DEC.
I bought a Brighton Bloom for my secondary account. This was my first time buying with the bid option on PeakMonsters. I have a couple of standing bids for cards from Beta also.
I'm not convinced yet that I want to use the bid option for everything. Both of the Beta cards that I bid on have gone up in price while I've been waiting. Maybe we'll call that bidder's remorse.
I'm still stacking and staking SPS. I'm still stacking vouchers. I plan to go through about half of my SPS and all of my vouchers on Riftwatchers when it hits the market.
My 2 priorities for expanding my collection in the meantime are still:
- Get the handful of cards that bring me the most wins for my secondary account. Brighton Bloom was basically number 2 on that list behind Mylor. It's not quite an auto win for the Earthquake ruleset, but it's probably like 75%.
- To go wide with my collection before I start leveling up cards for Silver. Some of the cards that I have my eye on for broadening my deck still include some of the less expensive legendary cards from Untamed and some of the older legendary rewards cards.
What are your thoughts? Am I better off getting some of the cards that have helped me win for my secondary account first or buying some of the older legends that have come down a little in price?
