I'm back with a new Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge post. Slinterlands gave a battle challenge with NERISSA TRIDAWN this week. NERISSA TRIDAWN is an Epic Water Monster. It has magic attacking ability. I will share a battle with this monster and show my lineup details.
A total of three combat rules were applied in this battle. These are Ferocity, Weak Magic & Equal Opportunity. Because of the first rule is Ferocity, all monsters received the Fury ability. The Fury ability helps to damage 2x to target with the Taunt ability. Because of the second rule is Weak Magic, Magic attacks hit armour before reducing health. Due to the last rule Equal Opportunity, all monsters had Opportunity Ability.

SUMMONER: DELWYN DRAGONSCALE
I used Delwyn Dragonscale in this battle. My water summoner was VERA SALACIA. But since most monsters in my party are magic attacking, I wanted to use a summoner that can increase magical attacks. And that's why I chose Delwyn Dragonscale instead of Vera Salacia. Because of this summoner, I got a chance to use a dragon monster.
1.SEA MONSTER
The reason for placing Sea Monster in the first position and including it in the team is its Heal Ability and Thorn's ability. Because of its healing ability, it was able to recover damage by healing every round after taking damage. Despite being a strong opponent, this monster was alive until the end of my battle because of its healing ability. In addition, its Thorns ability was effective in reducing the health of the enemy team's monsters.
2.DJINN OSHANNUS
In this battle, I used level 3 Djinn Oshannus. At level 3, this monster had Forcefield ability, due to which the monster that does 5+ damage was able to reduce its health to a maximum of 1. It also had Void & Phase abilities. Due to its opportunity ability in this battle, it could quickly attack and kill the essential monster of the enemy team. It killed the opponent's Serpentine Spy early in the first round, which helped my battle a bit.
3.SEA GENIE
I included Sea Genie in the team because of its Strength ability. And it was capable of reducing a maximum of 4 health at once. It wasn't very effective in the first round but it killed a monster later.
4.NERISSA TRIDAWN
This is the main monster of today's battle challenge. It was the maximum damage of the opponent's monster per round. It killed the opposing team's Kobold Miner in the first round. And it was alive till round 3. As long as it was alive, its high magic attack helped immensely in battle.
5.MEDUSA
Sadly Medusa dies before she can attack. The last two monsters in my team had no chance to attack. First round, I lost it. But a low-cost, effective card. Its Stun ability can stun the attacking power of powerful monsters.
6.BLACK DRAGON
Like Medusa, Black Dragon didn't get a chance to attack. It was the first of my party to die. So I didn't have the opportunity to see its attack.
There were only five rounds in this battle. And today's main monster NERISSA TRIDAWN was alive until round 3. Even after bringing in more powerful Summoners and Monsters, my team's monsters put up a great fight. And especially Sea Monster, Djinn Oshannus and Nerissa helped win the Tridawn battle.
But instead of Medusa and Black Dragon, it would have been better to use some high-speed monsters.
In my opinion, I won the battle because I was able to quickly kill the opponent's Serpentine Spy and Kobold Miner and the Sea Monster's heal ability. Otherwise, I might have lost the battle because I rarely won against Serpentine Spy and Kobold Miner.
Yes, My strategy worked in this battle. Though the opponent had come with some high-level and powerful monsters, my lineup destroyed the opponent's lineup. In this battle, NERISSA TRIDAWN performed her duties well till round 3 and helped to do maximum damage. Besides, the rest of the monsters also performed well.
