Dear fellow Splinterlander who has the gift of being able to read this Splinterlog:
I trust you are well and in good company beside a warm fire, with a hearty meal and fragrant beverage far from the perils of Splinterlands.
I write to request advice on my journey.
I set out today after listening for weeks to the crowds of seafaring travellers arriving from Hivecove.
The raving crowds went on and on about the endless fruits and treasures found in their adventures within Splinterlands.
I told myself to be sensible, to stay away from the windy paths of the crypto western mountains. That it was too difficult for a simple fisherman like me to learn the magic ways. I was no warrior, no avid explorer of unknown places, yet somehow against my initial apprehension I decided to venture.
Part of me wonders if it was the back-breaking work the large feudal tech kingdoms continue to burden us faithful fiat folk with. One can only take so much talk of centralized power before the back and heart break with hopelessness.
So I have placed this book in hidden places in Splinterlands along with some drawings of my battles roughly sketched below.
One of my hopes in writing is that I may hear more from those of you with more experience, as I do sense a need for some guidance. Some say asking for help shows weakness, I say I'd rather succeed together with others and then be able to assist others. I sense that in some ways we are all alone in our thoughts each day even when in good company, it is better to find trustworthy kinship that pretend we can make it without help.
Excuse the poor grammar and simple way I put ink to parchment, as I come from simple means and take heart that I can at least write, though it be simple. I will share more of my upbringing as I go along, yet for now please know that I am from the southern coastland where many have dreamed of visiting yet few return from due to the lethal creatures found all over our land.
Today as I write to you, Splinterlander, I am stuck in a dense forest at the end of autumn. The winter is arriving leaving snowfall upon the mountaintops in the distance. My campsite catches the bronze morning light, I do not know the way forward. The area I am currently in is Bronze 3 and my provisions are simple. One kind Splinterlander @jesseoostv gave me 20 energy crystals and faired me well with good advice to learn a strategy or two before renting help to continue my path further into the Splinterlands.
I will leave it here for the day.

He partido hoy después de escuchar durante semanas a la multitud de viajeros marineros que llegaban de Hivecove.
La multitud apasionada continuó hablando sobre los frutos y tesoros interminables encontrados en sus aventuras dentro de Splinterlands.
Me dije a mí mismo que debía ser sensato, que me mantuviera alejado de los ventosos caminos de las cripto montañas occidentales. Que era demasiado difícil para un simple pescador como yo aprender los métodos mágicos. No era un guerrero, ni un ávido explorador de lugares desconocidos, pero de alguna manera, en contra de mi aprensión inicial, decidí aventurarme.
Una parte de mí se pregunta si fue el trabajo agotador con el que los grandes reinos de la tecnología feudal continúan siendo una carga para nosotros, fieles a la gente fiduciaria. Solo se puede hablar hasta cierto punto del poder centralizado antes de que la espalda y el corazón se rompan de desesperanza.
Así que coloqué este libro en lugares ocultos junto con algunos dibujos de mis batallas que se bosquejan a continuación.
Una de mis esperanzas al escribir es poder escuchar más de aquellos de ustedes con más experiencia, ya que siento la necesidad de al menos alguna orientación. Algunos dicen que pedir ayuda muestra debilidad, yo digo que prefiero tener éxito juntos con otros y luego poder ayudar a los demás. Siento que de alguna manera estamos todos solos en nuestros pensamientos todos los días, incluso cuando estamos en buena compañía, es mejor encontrar una afinidad confiable que pretenda que podemos lograrlo sin ayuda.
Disculpe la mala gramática y la forma sencilla en que pongo tinta en el pergamino, ya que vengo de medios simples y me anima que al menos puedo escribir aunque sea simple. Compartiré más de mi educación a medida que avance, pero por ahora, por favor, sepan que soy de la costa sur, donde muchos han soñado con visitar, pero de donde pocos regresan debido a las criaturas letales que se encuentran en toda nuestra tierra.
