Part 3: The Forest Magician's Legacy
Through Pyre's communication, the Torch expedition learned about the forest magicians who once thrived in harmony with nature. They were tasked with protecting the delicate balance between elements, summoning ethereal beings to assist the forest's growth and protect it from external threats. But as the embers of the Smoldering Forest grew, fueled by unknown forces, the tribe faced its darkest hour, leading to their eventual decline and Pyre's solitary existence as the last survivor.
Intrigued by the potential of harnessing these lost arts, the Torch members saw an opportunity to give Pyre a new life, one where his abilities could be honed and used for a greater purpose.
