Once upon a time, in the dizzying world of cryptocurrency, there existed a notorious digital token known as "SPS" - a dubious offshoot from the cryptic realms of a game called Splinterlands. Dreams of digital riches flowed from it like a tumultuous river, sweeping everyone up in its irresistible current.
"Think of the profits!" They cried, eyes gleaming with the dazzle of blockchain brilliance. "This will be bigger than Bitcoin, more audacious than Ethereum! Invest in SPS now and you'll be rich by Tuesday!"
So, people did. With a leap of faith, they plunged into the pool of crypto promises. They bought SPS coins as though they were the digital seeds of money trees, all set to bloom into a luxuriant forest of financial freedom. And, oh, the dreams they spun. In the echo chambers of Discord, filled with moonlight and motor oil, the echo of "When moon? When Lambo?" filled the chat rooms. Yet, instead of Lamborghinis and lunar trips, there was only despair.
Because, alas, the SPS coin deflated faster than a punctured balloon. The promised riches evaporated, like a mirage in the desert of reality. Investments shrunk and wallets lightened. The SPS, touted as the golden goose, had turned out to be nothing more than a mangy chicken.

I had become one of these eternal optimists, having put a fair sum into SPS. With an awkward chuckle, I'd say to friends, "I'm not worried. No, no. My kid's university fund is in SPS... I guess he'll be the first one going to Mars University at this rate!"
