Melee monsters are known for not being able to attack from the back line, with the exception of those that have a specific ability to do so, such as Reach, Opportunity and Sneak. However, there are rulesets that allow this to be possible without them having any ability to do so.
One of these is Super Sneak, which gives all these types of monster the ability to attack the last unit in the back line if it doesn't have Camouflage, otherwise it will attack the second-to-last.
Of all the rulesets that exist in Splinterlands, this is one that I hate the most. This is due to the fact that sometimes my opponent simply ignores the ruleset and puts out a team full of Magicians and Ranges, and as I've prepared to receive several attacks in the back line, the front ends up being somewhat vulnerable.
One thing we have to bear in mind about this ruleset is that it overrides the other two mentioned above, as well as the Snipe. In this case, there's no way for melee monsters to attack any position other than this one, with the only exception being the one on the front line.
The sneak ability prevails over the other ones, except Scattershot. But this last one doesn't affect any Meele.
So the normal thing is that you see a monster with Shield or a lot of armor points in this position, so that it can withstand the various attacks it might receive.
With that in mind, there is one way to try and catch your opponent off guard, and that is to use some cards that, in addition to melee attack, have magic attack or range. Both will be directed at him, and if the target is low on life, you could end up defeating him easily.
That's exactly what I did in a battle that took place some time ago.
In addition to the weekly challenge ruleset, there were:
Counterspell: all monsters receive the ability to reflect magic.
Aim True: any attack can't miss.
Given the rulesets, it was unlikely that magic monsters would be put on the field, but I ended up taking precautions against this by putting Unicorn Mustang at the front.
Right behind him, I placed the Grund, which could cause significant damage to the enemy back line.
In the middle of the back line, I placed 3 supports, Thane Newsong, which increases the melee attack of my entire team by 1 point, Epona, which increases the health of my entire team by 1 point, and Queen Mycelia, which increases the armor of my entire team by 2 points.
Finally, I put in my main card, the Quora Towershead. With the use of a summoner that allowed me to put her on the field, I left her in that position not only to hold off the opponent's attacks, but also to surprise him with her magic attack, because as I said earlier, it would also be directed at the enemy back line.
The time to see each other's teams arrives, and I realize that my strategy looked like it was going to work brilliantly, with a Bloodlust already being activated after my Quora eliminates the Dumacke Orc, which only has 2 life points. He certainly wasn't expecting to use a monster with both melee and magic attacks.
This would make the first round very favorable for me.
In the next few rounds, she manages to eliminate 2 more of the enemy's monsters, activating her Bloodlust 2 more times, surviving with little life, but recovering some of it thanks to her ability.
And so I end up winning the battle, in a way totally unexpected by my opponent, and probably teaching him a new trick, since not many players know about it.

The fact that the Super Sneak ruleset allows all melee monsters to attack from the back line doesn't mean that your opponent will only use this type of monster. Therefore, it's a good idea to put a good tanker on the front line to hold off Magic and Ranged attacks, or you could be surprised and end up losing unpleasantly.
It's also worth remembering, as in the example above, that any attacks other than melee that a monster has will be directed at the same target, which means that you need to pay attention, especially in Splinter Terra, which is where you have two cards that have Magic attacks other than melee, and if you put a monster with a lot of armor but very low life, you could lose out.

Os monstros tipo corpo a corpo, são conhecidos por não poderem atacar da linha de trás, com exceção dos que possuem alguma habilidade específica para isso, como Reach, Opportunity e Sneak. No entanto, existem regras de batalha que permitem com que isso seja possível sem que ele possua habilidade alguma para que isso seja possível.
Uma delas é a Super Sneak, que dá a todos esses tipos de monstro a capacidade de atacar a última unidade da linha de trás, caso este não possua Camouflage, senão irá atacar a penúltima.
De todas as regras de batalha que existem em Splinterlands, essa é uma das que eu mais detesto. Isso se deve ao fato de que algumas vezes meu oponente simplesmente ignora a regra e coloca um time cheio de Mágicos e Ranges, e como eu me preparei para receber diversos ataques na linha de trás, a frente acaba ficando um tanto vulnerável.
Uma coisa que temos que ter em mente quanto a essa regra, é que ela sobrepõe as outras duas citadas anteriormente, além do Snipe. Nesse caso, não há como os monstros corpo a corpo atacarem outra posição, a não ser essa, com uma única exceção que é o que estiver na linha de frente.
A habilidade Sneak prevalece sobre as outras, exceto Scattershot. Porém, essa última não tem efeito sobre os monstros corpo a corpo
Então o normal é que você veja um monstro com Shield ou muitos pontos de armadura nessa posição, para que ele possa segurar os diversos ataques que poderão ser recebidos.
Com isso em mente, há uma forma de tentar pegar seu oponente desprevenido, que é usando algumas cartas que além de ataque corpo a corpo, possuem ataque mágico ou range. Ambos serão direcionados até ele, e caso o alvo possua pouca vida, você pode acabar derrotando-o facilmente.
Foi exatamente o que eu fiz em uma batalha que ocorreu a algum tempo atrás.
Além da regra do desafio semanal, estavam presentes:
Counterspell: todos os monstros recebem a habilidade de reflet mágico.
Aim True: não há possibilidade de nenhum ataque errar.
Dadas as regras, dificilmente iriam ser colocados monstros mágicos em campo, no entanto acabei me precavendo contra isso, colocando o Unicorn Mustang na frente.
Logo atrás deixei o Grund, que poderia causar um dano significativo sobre a linha de trás inimiga.
No meio da linha de trás, coloquei 3 suportes, Thane Newsong que aumenta o ataque corpo a corpo de todo o meu time em 1 ponto, Epona, que aumenta a vida de todo meu time em 1 ponto, e Queen Mycelia, que aumenta a armadura de todo o meu time em 2 pontos.
Por fim, coloquei minha carta principal, a Quora Towershead. Com o uso de um invocador que me permitia colocá-la em campo, eu a deixei nessa posição não só para segurar os ataques do oponente, mas também para surpreendê-lo com o ataque mágico dela, pois como falei anteriormente, ele também seria direcionado para a linha de trás inimiga.
A hora de ver os times um do outro chega, e percebo que minha estratégia parecia que iria funcionar de forma brilhante, com um Bloodlust já sendo ativado após minha Quora eliminar o Dumacke Orc, que possui apenas 2 ponto de vida. Ele certamente não esperava o uso de um monstro com ataque corpo a corpo e mágico.
Com isso, a primeira rodada já se tornaria bastante favorável para mim.
Nas próximas rodadas, ela consegue eliminar mais 2 monstros do inimigo, ativado mais 2 vezes seu Bloodlust, sobrevivendo com pouca vida, mas recuperando parte dela graças a sua habilidade.
E assim acabo vencendo a batalha, de uma forma totalmente inesperada pelo meu oponente, e provavelmente ensinando um truque novo para ele, já que não são muitos os jogadores que sabem disso.

O fato da regra de batalha Super Sneak permitir que todos os monstros tipo corpo a corpo ataquem da linha de trás, não quer dizer que seu oponente irá utilizar apenas esse tipo de monstro. Portanto, é interessante que você coloque algum bom tanker na linha de frente para segurar ataques Mágicos e de Ranges, ou você poderá ser surpreendido e acabar perdendo de forma desagradável.
Também vale lembrar, como no exemplo citado, que os ataques além do corpo a corpo que um monstro possuir, será direcionado ao mesmo alvo, o que quer dizer que você precisa prestar atenção, principalmente no Splinter Terra, que é onde possui duas cartas que possuem ataque Mágico além do corpo a corpo, e se você colocar um monstro com bastante armadura mais baixíssima vida, poderá se dar mal.
