In Splinterlands, the rarity of a card defines how much it will be offered, how many copies of a particular card will be generated.
It also influences its demand, because the higher the rarity, the stronger the card tends to be.
Legendaries are at the top of this list, followed by epics, rares and commons. As such, it's normal to expect that in addition to being highly valued, they will be the ones that have the greatest effect on your battles.
However, there is one epic card that I would say could easily be a legendary. It's a gladiator that everyone fears to face. I'm talking about the Quora Towershead.
As well as healing, she has two types of attack, magic and melee, and also receives an increase in all her attributes when she defeats an enemy monster, thanks to Bloodlust. This causes it to gain 2 attack points each time this happens.
This makes it an extremely sought-after card and it becomes a terror, especially in Brawls.
Even more so at level 3, when it becomes even stronger, receiving Immunity, which makes it immune to any negative effects caused by monsters.
However, there are ways to defeat it. And I believe that the best way to do this is to eliminate it quickly.
An efficient way of accomplishing this difficult task is by using monsters with the ability Giant Killer.
Monsters with the Giant Killer ability deal double damage to monsters with a mana cost of more than 10.
With that, all you need to do is add a few more strong attackers to finish her off for good, and, of course, take precautions in case everything goes wrong by adding a tanker with armor and a good amount of life.
There are many of them, but the best for this situation are those that have no attack at all, as they are compensated with a higher amount of life.
Give preference to those with a low mana cost, as you want as much attack as possible to annihilate it quickly.
Let's now show you the battle in which I faced the dreaded Quora.
For the tanker position, I chose Scavo Chemist, which has the characteristics I mentioned earlier, as well as reducing the enemy team's speed.
The Giant Killer monster I chose was the Djinn Inferni. Of all the monsters with this ability, it is the best in my opinion, as it has a high speed combined with a high magic attack.
I added the Tower Griffin, which provides 2 points of armor for my entire team.
The Lava Launcher had been chosen because of the Heavy Hitters ruleset, which causes all monsters under the effect of Stun to suffer double damage. However, this had no effect on Quora, since as mentioned above, from level 3 she is immune to negative effects.
My opponent came in with Mylor Crowling, to finish off any melee I might be able to use, with 2 healers at the back, plus Quora and Bramble Pixie who heal themselves.
It was a great strategy on his part, as only the Fire and Earth Splinters were available. So the chances of a meele appearing were high, which unfortunately for him didn't happen.
In the first round I took 3 life points from her, as the total damage applied was 15, but with 3 heals she recovered almost everything.
However, that was enough to eliminate her in the second round, without her being able to react again.
A beautiful combo was applied, eliminating the opponent's two main monsters, ending the battle quickly.

I wasn't expecting to face Quora in this battle, and it turned out that I put together a team that managed to take her out quite accidentally.
And then I realized that this kind of strategy can be effective, if I can predict its use in future battles.

Em Splinterlands, a raridade de uma carta define o quão ofertada ela será, isto é, o quanto de cópias de determinada serão geradas.
Além disso, isso influencia em sua demanda também, pois quanto maior a raridade, mais forte a carta tenderá a ser.
As lendárias estão no topo dessa lista, seguido pelas épicas, raras e comuns. Sendo assim, é normal esperar que elas além de super valorizadas, serão as que mais irão ccausar efeito em suas batalhas.
No entanto, existe uma carta épica, que eu diria que poderia tranquilamente ser uma lendária. É uma gladiadora que todos temem enfrentar. Estou falando da Quora Towershead.
Ela além de se curar, possui dois tipos de ataque, mágico e meele, e também recebe um aumento de todos os seus atributos ao derrotar um monstro inimigo, graçaas ao Bloodlust. Isso faz com que ela ganhe 2 pontos de ataque, cada vez que isso acontece.
Tal feito a torna uma carta extremamente requisitada e se torna o terror, principalmente nos Brawls.
Ainda mais no nível 3, quando ela se torna mais forte ainda, recebendo Immunity, o que a torna imune a qualquer efeito negativo causado por monstros.
No entanto, existem formas de derrotá-la. E eu acredito que a melhor maneira de fazer isso, é eliminando-a rapidamente.
Uma forma eficiente de realizar essa difícil tarefa, é através do uso de monstros com a habilidade Giant Killer.
Os detentores dela, causam o dobro de dano em monstros com custo de mana superior a 10.
Com isso, basta apenas colocar mais alguns fortes atacantes para acabar com ela de vez, além é claro, de se precaver caso tudo dê errado, adicionando um tanker com armadura e uma boa quantidade de vida.
Existem muitos deles, mas os melhores para essa situação, são aqueles que não possuem ataque algum, pois eles são compensados com uma quantidade de vida maior.
Dê preferência para os que possuem custo baixo de mana, pois você quer o máximo de ataque possível para aniquilá-la rapidamente.
Vamos agora mostrar a batalha a qual enfrentei a temida Quora.
Para a posição de tanker, escolhi o Scavo Chemist, que possui as características que eu citei anteriormente, além de reduzir a velocidade do time inimigo.
O monstro com Giant Killer escolhido, foi o Djinn Inferni. De todos os que possuem tal habilidade, ele é o melhor em minha opinião, pois possui uma alta velocidade, combinado com um alto ataque mágico.
Adicionei o Tower Griffin, que fornece 2 pontos de armadura para todo o meu time.
O Lava Launcher havia sido escolhido por conta da regra de batalha Heavy Hitters, que faz com que todos os monstros sob efeito de Stun sofram o dobro de dano. Porém, isso não surtia efeito sobre a Quora, já que como citado anteriormente, a partir do nível 3 ela é imune a efeitos negativos.
Meu oponente veio com o Mylor Crowling, para acabar com qualquer meele que eu pudesse vir a usar, com 2 curandeiros na linha de atrás, além da Quora e da Bramble Pixie que se curam sozinhas.
Foi uma ótima estratégia por parte dele, já que apenas os Splinters de Fogo e Terra estavam disponíveis. Então, as chances de aparecer algum meele eram altas, coisa que infelizmente para ele não aconteceu.
Na primeira rodada tirei 3 pontos de vida dela, pois o total de dano aplicado foi 15, porém com 3 curas recebidas ela recuperou quase tudo.
No entanto, já era o suficiente para eliminá-la na segunda rodada, sem que ela conseguisse reagir novamente.
Um belo combo foi aplicado, eliminando os dois principais monstros do adversário, acabando com a batalha rapidamente.

Eu não estava esperando enfrentar a Quora nessa batalha, e acabou que eu montei um time que conseguiu eliminá-la meio que sem querer.
E então eu vi que esse tipo de estratégia pode ser eficiente, caso eu consega prever o seu uso em futuras batalhas.
