Hi Splinterlands Mages,
The season has just ended leaving a thick smoke of burning artillery, corpses lying on the ground scattered pecked by ravens and vultures, and those who gain victories chant slogans of glory and power. Triumphant battle mages have gained magical GLINT power after defeating their enemies, they are ready to process GLINT to draw more fierce monsters that can aid them into battle.
The new season starts but before entering the battlefield, it is important to prepare for the unforeseen threats. Now, it is the time for battle mages to resupply their armory, add new fighting units, and prepare new buffs and debuffs.
GLINT EARNED
It was not an easy season as I had faced so many powerful mages with maxed level cards, but somehow my hordes of fighters managed to win strategically many battles. I reached Gold I, but suddenly the game became so tough enough to hold on that position, and I was forced to lose 2 leagues and landed on Gold III.
I had seen a plethora of level 6 to max level summoners and monsters against my level 2 and 3 summoners. The enemy summoners had cards that I had never seen before with abilities unknown, yet I collected a nice amount of GLINT and SPS.
GLINT Earned
I earned around 83,500 GLINT and sent back to Silver II, I consider this my most rewarding season so far that I managed to pull some nice loot after spending GLINT on rewards.
LEGENDARY CARDS DRAW
I am a fan of Rarity Draw, since it does not need chances of having any rarity card, it directly provides random legendary cards upon spending GLINT.
I spent 70,000 GLINT to pull 2 legendary cards along with 2 Alchemy potions to increase chances for a gold foil legendary cards.
I have drawn Gallicus and Emberguard, Gallicus is the first time and Embergaurd is the 2nd time receiving these cards.
Gallicus can be a good fit for Little League, I will explore its utility further in current season.
EPIC CARD DRAW
I haven't much GLINT left to draw more than 1 Epic card, but I am happy with what I get this time.
I pulled a high damage epic Kha'zi Conjurer card, it has 4 initial ranged damage, but there is problem that it spreads fire to adjacent units, that's big problem when you have vulnerable units with low health points. I will try to put it between units having Reflect ability.
I will try to pull more Epic cards next EOS as I had to upgrade them to level 2, otherwise having level 1 cards affect the rewards badly.
GOLD FOIL COMMON DRAW
I also liked to have gold foil card as they increase reward when placed in a battle.
I spent 3,500 GLINT on a common gold foil draw and received a nice 4 mana Nimbledook Explorer, I'll combine it with another gold foil card I already have to increase its level to 4.
RARE CARDS DRAW
Rare card draw just fine as I did not get any new card, but I think it good have these cards for upgrading existing cards.
After spending 1,500 GLINT on rare draw, I pulled Dragon Egg Forager and Meriput Slinger.
COMMON CARDS DRAW
Here is the image of common cards that I pulled from common draw, I have these cards already, but I'll try to upgrade as many as I can wherever possible.
I think Chaos Evoker and Drybone Hobgoblin cards can prove to be helpful in battles.
CURRENT SEASON STRATEGY
The ambitions are high and there is always a flame for working hard to reach my targets. I am looking forward to earning more GLINT this season, I hope I'll accumulate 100K GLINT and look for 3 Legendary cards.
For SPS rewards, I have to improve my win rate and stay in Gold I league to earn potentially higher SPS reward. I aim for 20-30 SPS per day, but more is always welcomed.
