What is Up Hive!
Posting one of the cool looking card from Splinterlands: Lord of Fire. One thing I want to achieve with the models is to recreate a different actions or posture.
The Lord of Fire

Only the bravest summoners of the Burning Lands have the skills necessary to summon the King of the Fire Demons. Known as the Lord of Fire, he is said to spend his time lounging in his underlava palace in one of the great molten schisms of the Burning Lands. The Lord of Fire cares little for the activity of his Fire Demons, but whenever his rule is challenged, he is quick to prove his power to his underlings. He controls fire as a sculptor works clay and scoffs at shields and armor. The Lord of Fire can simply burn you from within.

Stensil 1: Capturing How it would look like on a jumping position.
Stensil 2: Doing the cape and head for details to get the feeling of the gesture.
I was having hard time creating it facing downwards, took me a while browsing on some tutorial and doing it for my self, until I were able to achieve it.

Moving forward to the details.
Like I said since, I was having a hard time with the face, it was the first thing I want to go and do first. So as the color I'll be using.

Luckily its facing down now at this point, I just continue with the finishing touches.
Now that I got the whole body done, time for some coloring.

I usually try and cover up the totality of the area with the base color and splash it with bucket of color and do the shadow later on.

Now that I got to cover up on full color, I did the shadows the claw, and next is the hair, bracer and some background.

Creating some effect I put on some extra background for extra feelings!
Now this seem a bit dull and boring so, I made different background color, and made a GIF so it would feel like it's jumping on something or someone!
