Hello Splinterlands fam!
I guess all of you are having an awesome day with your loved ones and for those who play this game on a daily basis, I hope you all are focusing all your strength into the game to perform well. Looking at the season clock, we have only 1 day and 19 hours of time left before this ongoing ranked season meets its end, so most probably you are trying with your level best to reach your goal for this season, weather you are fighting to enter your goal league tier or securing a glorious spot at the champion leaderboard. Now, as expected, since the launch of the newest Conclave Arcana edition card-set into the game, the gameplay style can be seen changing entirely, especially in the modern format, where players are brainstorming to find new, cool and unbeatable combos to beat their opponents. On top of that, 2 more fresh new special cards have also been introduced to the game just recently - the voucher card Tasoshi Drakamoto and Promo Yaba’s Pickle card, both of which can be bought in the official Splinterlands website’s shop tab. By now, I guess all of you have already bought your quota of Yaba’s Pickle card and so did I.
Now, coming to the main topic of this post, today I am about to talk about another amazing Conclave Arcana card. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be showcasing the mighty Legendary card Jicarilla the Rime. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this card, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
Jicarilla the Rime
Jicarilla Rime is one of the most shouted cards in the whole Conclave Arcana edition cardset and no doubt it is gaining popularity fast due to its unmatched abilities and stats. This is a monster card that costs 7 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit this card in your lineup when playing medium to high mana limit matches. By rarity, it is a Legendary type card, so you will need a total of 11 BCX cards to upgrade this card to its max level. This monster belongs to the Water element and its bloodline is Human. Its attack type is magic and apart from a decent attack power, this monster also possesses a large health bar and a small armour on top of it, making it defensive against all types of enemy attacks, but its speed is very low. The main feature of this card is that it holds 4 abilities at max level and 3 out of them are brand new that got launched with the Conclave Arcana edition card set. Anyway, let us now take a further look at its league wise stats and abilities to find out more.
BRONZE
At level 1, this mobster card possesses 1 magic attack at 1 speed with 1 armour and 9 health. Apart from the health, all other stats are lowest, so you may think of it as a weak card, but in matches with the Reverse Speed ruleset, this card can perform really well. On top of that, this monster also gets a brand new ability called Cleanse Rearguard, which will help your backline monster.
CLEANSE REARGUARD - Monsters with this ability cleanse the last allied backline unit with a magic debuff.
SILVER
As this card gets upgraded to level 2, its stats remains the same as of its previous level - 1 magic attack at 1 speed with 1 armour 9 health and it also gets a new ability at this level called Tank Heal, which wi help you to build healing strategic lineup easily while using this card.
TANK HEAL - Monsters with this ability restore 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied unit in the first place every round.
GOLD
When you upgrade this monster to its next level 3, its magic attack power gets increased to 2, but all the other stats remain the same - 1 speed with 1 armour and 9 health. Apart from that, it also receives a new ability at this level called Phase Ward, which is another fresh ability that got introduced with the CA edition cardset.
PHASE WARD - With the help of this ability, the monster at the front of this unit gains the phase ability at the start of battle.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when this monster card gets upgraded to its max level of 4, its stats remain the same as its previous level - 2 magic attack at 1 speed with 1 armour and 9 health. Not only that, but it also receives another ability at its max level called Echo, which is a very powerful ability with game-changing potential.
ECHO - Monsters with this ability have active abilities (Repair and all healing and cleansing abilities) that trigger twice per round.
As you can clearly see, though this monster is weak when it comes to attacking, its ability combo makes it a powerful choice to be used in battles, especially against magic monsters. On one hand, it can heal and cleanse friendly monsters, while on the other hand, it will increase the overall defence power even more with the Phase Ward and Echo ability. So overall, I think this card is really good to keep in your collection and use in large mana limit matches whenever you expect to battle against multiple magic mobsters.
