Hello Splinterlands fam!
I guess all of you are having a blasting day with your loved ones and for those who love to play splinterlands, I hope you all are having a good time in this amazing game and busy building your card collection and assets while enjoying the journey. Well, for all the serious players out there, all of them must be pretty busy with the ranked season and if we take a look at the season end clock, only 9 days and 19 hours left for this ongoing season to meet its end, so whether you are aiming to reach a certain league tier or want to secure a place in the glorious champion league leaderboard, make sure to put some more pressure on it and reach your goal before the season end bloodbath.
On the other hand, I am sure that by now you have acknowledged and probably tried out the most recent addition to the game, the Frontier mode. At this point, there’s no doubt that the whole Splinterlands team is on steroids. I mean, seriously, just some weeks ago they released a brand new ranked format used in Survival mode and yet, they have once again surprised us with another brand new gameplay mode, the Frontier mode. Now, this newly introduced format is a totally free-to-play mode where players require neither cards nor SPS to start playing. As only foundation cards can be used in this format, there are prizes in the form of in-game cards that can be won by playing this mode. This new addition has once again ignited some spark in me to play it again, and as this mode requires foundation cards, I decided to play and finish the campaign mode first to get my hands on some foundation cards. As thought, I immediately jumped into it and played the first 3 chapters of the campaign mode and hopefully will finish Book 1 by tomorrow and then, with the earned foundation cards, I will jump right into the frontier mode and test it out and share my experience with you all.
TIDAL TSUNAMIST
Now, let me come back to the main topic of this post, as today, I would like to catch all of your attention to this amazing Conclave Arcana card that I am about to showcase today. As you have already seen it in the thumbnail, today I will be talking about the TIDAL TSUNAMIST. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this monster, let’s take a deep dive without any further ado.
TIDAL TSUNAMIST is a monster type card that was introduced in the game with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana edition card set. This monster belongs to the Water element and it comes from the Tideborn bloodline. This monster, by rarity, is a Common type card, so you would need a total of 400 BCX cards in order to upgrade this monster to max level. It would require 5 mana to use this card in your battle lineup, thus, you can easily choose this card when playing small to medium mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster is melee and apart from a good attack power, this aqua monster also flaunts a decently high speed and a large health bar, along with 3 abilities at its max level, which I will be talking about later in this post. Let us now take a further look at this card’s league wise stats and abilities to find out more.
BRONZE
At level 3, this monster card receives a noticeable set of stats that includes 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 6 health. But only that, it also gets the Sneak ability since its initial level, which makes this monster very useful since its very first level. A sneak card with high health can serve a dual purpose - play defensively while attacking rear enemy cards, if used strategically, of course.
SNEAK
- Monsters with this ability will target the enemy unit at the last position.
SILVER
As this monster successfully reached its next league level 5, its stats remain the same as of its previous level - 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 6 health. However, it does get a new ability at this level called Repair. This ability alone makes this monster way more useful now, especially if you are using monsters with armour in the battle.
REPAIR
- Monsters with this ability restore 2 armour (up to max) to the allied unit with the most damage to its armour.
GOLD
When you upgrade this monster further to its next league level of 8, its stats get a little boost, as now it gets the same 3 melee power with 6 health but with an increased 4 speed. Not just that, but it also receives a new ability at this level called Fury, which will help you take down enemy units with the Taunt ability from now on.
TAUNT
- Monsters with this ability deal double damage if the target has the Taunt ability.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 10, it gets 4 melee attack power at 4 speed with 7 health, along with those 3 abilities that I mentioned above. Though it does not get any new ability at its max level, its increased stats will surely help you well on the battlefield.
Last but not least, if you are looking for a sneak card that carries good health and speed and also comes with some helpful abilities like repair or taunt, then this monster might be your next best friend in this game. But its mana cost is also a bit higher than what we used to see for sneak or opportunity cards, so it will be difficult to fit this monster in small mana limit matches. Let me know if you have used this card in battles or choose others over it.
I hope you enjoyed reading my post about the TIDAL TSUNAMIST card above. Let me know your thoughts about this monster in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
