El nuevo sistema de recompensas llegó y con el, tambien llegó la necesidad de cambiar de estrategia, algo que yo no lei a tiempo fue que tu temporada actual condiciona el nivel de los cofres de la siguiente, la temporada pasada terminé en Oro y por ello en esta tambien me tocaron cofres de Oro, asi que aunque no es el rango en el que juego usualmente (suelo jugar en Plata) tenia que competir, no podia quedarme fuera del inicio de estas actualizaciones.
Una de mis dudas era que impacto real tendrian todos estos nuevos cambios en las recompensas diarias, por eso decidi hacer este analisis.

One of my doubts was what real impact all these new changes would have on the daily rewards, that's why I decided to make this analysis.

Este día me toco Focus de Agua, no pude contar todo el DEC que obtuve en mis partidas por un descuido, pero incluso sacando al DEC el balance fue muy positivo, veamos:
- Gasté 382.921 DEC x 1 día alquiler de las cartas que necesitaba de Splinter Agua.

Se que algunos dirán que las pociones no tienen valor porque no se pueden comerciar pero si usarse para abrir packs así que siempre tendrán un valor añadido por el potencial, y aunque las elimine, este Focus sigue siendo verde, además obtener una carta dorada siempre será un beneficio a futuro

I know some will say that potions have no value because they can't be traded but they can be used to open packs so they will always have an added value because of the potential, and even if I eliminate them, this Focus is still green, plus getting a gold card will always be a benefit in the future.

Nuevamente me tocó Focus de Agua, en realidad me tocó Vida pero como no me gusta mucho ese Splinter lo cambió siempre que puedo, con la experiencia del Focus anterior ya tenia en mente todas las cartas que iba a necesitar alquilar para hacer este focus, y aunque considero que alquile varias cartas de mas, el punto es que termine gastando 691.12 DEC en los alquileres. Lo que decidí entonces fue quemar el doble de mi ECR jugando, para dejarlo descansar hoy y mañana e iniciar un nuevo Focus pasado mañana, asi le saco el maximo provecho posible a las cartas que alquilé.

Again on this day I got Water Splinter Focus, actually I got Life Focus but as I don't like to play that Splinter very much I change it whenever I can, with the experience of the previous Focus I already had in mind what are all the cards that I was going to need to rent to make this focus in a great way, and although I consider that I rented several cards too many, the point is that I ended up spending 691.12 DEC in the rentals. What I decided then was to burn twice my ECR playing, to let it rest today and tomorrow and start a new Focus the day after tomorrow, so I get the most out of the cards I rented.

Este dia me toco Focus con mi Splinter favorito asi que iba a poner todo de mi parte para hacerlo lo mejor posible, con mi ECR al 100% empecé a rentar las cartas que me hacian falta, algo muy bueno de que me toque Focus de Muerte es que estoy armando este mazo propio asi que hay varias cartas que ya tengo en posesion, osea no tengo que rentarlas y eso me ayuda a bajar el precio de mis gastos. En total gasté 773.899 DEC en alquileres y hoy iba a ir con todo a sacar la mayor cantidad posible de cofres ¿quizas llegar a los 30 diarios?

La competencia estuvo muy dura y en algunas batallas el ruleset me jugó en contra, pero de igual forma logré conseguir un total de 17 cofres. Al abrirlos obtuve esto:

Como puedes ver, en esta quest que obtuve recompensas muy bajas y aunque gasté bastante en mis rentas, seguí obteniendo una ganancia de 19.094 DEC.
No estoy vendiendo estos activos, al contrario, los colecciono. Pero si llegara a necesitar este dinero puedo estar tranquilo sabiendo que en la actualidad estoy ganando mas de lo que invierto y que a futuro la mayoria (quizas todos) estos activos van a ir subiendo de precio conforme la demanda vaya superando a la oferta.

As you can see in this table, in this Death Focus I got very low rewards and although I spent quite a lot on my rents, I still made a profit of 19,094 DEC.
I need to clear it, am not selling these assets, on the contrary, I hodl and collect them. But if every moment I ever need this money I can rest easy knowing that I am currently earning more than I invest on the game and that in the future most (maybe all) of these assets will go up in price as demand outstrips supply, Especially the cards, my Gold Foil cards look beautiful.
Conclusiones.
Si bien son apenas 3 focus de los 15 posibles en la temporada, la realidad es que creo que el nuevo sistema de recompensas esta funcionando muy bien porque mientras mas y mejor juegues, mejores recompensas obtienes, siendo completamente objetivos, mi ultimo Focus de Agua me dió suficiente DEC para alquilar cartas para cada uno de los Focus restantes de la temporada, eso quiere decir que podria hacer otros 8 Focus sin preocuparme por perder mi dinero y todo lo que obtenga en ellos, sera ganancia para mi cuenta. Creo que este final de temporada sera crucial para probar la resistencia de las cartas con respecto al precio, ya que la apertura de cofres de final de temporada va a ser masiva, yo llevo 30 faltando 7 dias, cuando antes en una temporada hacia cerca de 20, una locura total.
¿Es rentable entonces jugar Splinterlands ahora mismo?
Para mi siempre lo ha sido, pero ahora con este nuevo sistema se ha ido a un nivel mucho mas alto y me da mucho gusto porque no solamente gano mas recompensas, si no que disfruto mucho mas jugando pues las partidas se han puesto bastante competitivas.
Conclusions.
Although there are only 3 focus missions of the 15 possible in the season, the reality by now is that I think the new reward system is working very well on the game, because the more and better you play your battles, the better rewards you get, and being completely objective, my last Water Focus gave me enough DEC to rent cards for each of the remaining Focus of the whole season, that means that I could make another 8 Focus this season without worrying about invest and losing my money and everything I get in those chest, will be profit for my account. I think this end of season will be crucial to test the resistance of the cards with respect to the price, since the opening of end of season chests is going to be massive, I have 30 with 7 days left, when before in a season I made about 20, a total madness.
So is it profitable to play Splinterlands right now?
For me it always has been, but now with this new system it has gone to a much higher level and I am very happy because I not only earn more rewards, but I enjoy playing much more because the games have become quite competitive.
