Have you ever tried that as soon as you saw your opponents card, you immediately thought you were going to lose?
Hello Splinterlands Community! Let me share with you my one of the best battle that I encountered.
Combat Rules:
This is a Silver League Battle (Modern Format) with 99 mana cap the battle of high mana and high damage monsters.
The rules are HEALED OUT ( All healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.) and EARTHQUAKE ( Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.)
Available Splinters: Water, Earth, Life, Death and Dragon.
Dragon is open in this battle, Brighton Bloom (give all friendly unit a Flying ability) as Summoner can help in this ruleset.
Since I don't have Brighton Bloom my strategies here is to pick monsters with FlyingAbility, monsters with high damage, high HP and with Armor. Monster with HEAL ability is also useful in Earthquake rules but in this battle it is useless because of the other rules the Healed Out.
I used Quix the Devious partnered with the Light Elements.

Carnage Titan also a good off-tank if the Uriel the Purifier falls. | |
 Chaos Dragon | DPS•(3 magic attack, 3 speed, 4 armor and 10HP) with Flying, Scattershot (This monster's attacks hit a random enemy target) and Blast ( Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster). One of my Favorite Dragon Monster Blast and Scattershotwas so good. | |
 Adelade Brigthwing | Support/DPS•(2 magic damage, 1 speed and 5 HP)with Flying, Repair(Restores some armor to the friendly Monster whose armor has taken the most damage) and Resurrect( When a friendly Monster dies it is brought back to life with 1 Health. This ability can only trigger once per battle) abilities. Even though Heal is remove in this battle Repair ability still works. | |
 Zyvax Vuul | (2 range attack, 3 speed and 9HP) with Flying, Recharge and Close Range (Can perform ranged attacks from the first position) I only used this card sometimes it depends on the ruleset like back to basic. This monster deals 6 range attack every other round. | |
 Agor Longtail | DPS/Support/Backdoor Defense•(2 magic attack and 3 melee attack, 3 speed, 6 armor and 11 HP)with Flying, Taunt (All enemy Monsters target this Monster (if they are able to)and Void Armor (Magic attacks hit this Monster's armor before its Health)The best thing about this monster is the Taunt and Void Armor magic attack monster can't kill him easily. Good combination with Adelade Brigthwing. |
In this Line Up I choose all monster with Flying Ability except Carnage Titan. I also focus on Damage. 6 melee attack and 7 magic damage (11 magic damage together with Blast effect) every round and 15 melee damage, 6 range damage and 7 magic damage (11 magic damage together with Blast effect) every other round.

 Coeurl Lurker | - Coeurl Lurker(4 melee attack, 4 speed, and 11 HP) with Taunt, Dodge (Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks.)and Phase (Magic attack can miss this Monster )A fast monster with Flying, (Brighton Bloom)Dodge, and Phase will be very hard to hit by Melee, Ranged and Magic attacks and also it has a Taunt Ability just seeing this monster feels like i'm going to lose. |
Carnage Titan(3 melee attack, 3 speed, 7 Armor and 8 HP) same with mine it is in 2nd Position.
Cornealus ( 3 range attack, 3 speed and 12 HP) with Heal and Thorns ( When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker) abilities.
Chaos Dragon ( 3 magic damage, 3 speed, 4 armor and 10 HP)
Oaken Behemoth ( 2 magic and 3 melee attack, 3 speed, 3 armor and 9 HP) with Reach, Void Armor and Knock Out ( Does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned) Attack only using magic attack, Reach ability won't effect because this monster isn't in 2nd Position.
Runemancer Florre ( 2 magic and 3 range attack, 4 speed and 13 HP) it is my first time figthing this monster. It deals a total of 5 damages every round.
Enemies team also focuses in monster with high damage and high HP. It deals a total of 10 melee attack from Coeurl Lurker and Carnage Titan, 4 range attack from Cornealus and Runemancer Florre and 7 magic damage from Chaos Dragon (11 magic damage together with Blast effect. There's also advantage, all of his monster won't damage if the earthquake strikes because of Flying Ability from his Summoner Brighton Bloom.
Let's see what will be the result of the battle.
Round 1
All monster with Taunt take more damage. Coeurl Lurker with 3 HP , Agor Longtail with 9HP and our tank still have 5 HP and 2 armor.
Round 2
Earthquake strikes. Our Carnage Titan take 2 damage. Coeurl Lurker falls from the combined attack of Agor Longtail and Zyvax Vuul. Agor Longtail still standing with 3HP after this round.
Round 3
Enemies Carnage Titan takes place as a tank. Agor Longtail falls this round but she was resurrected by Adelade Brigthwing. Uriel the Purifier was removed in this round with the double strike of Carnage Titan. Then Adelade Brigthwing revenge for Uriel and killed the enemies Carnage Titan.
Round 4
Cornealus and our Carnage Titan is now in tank position. Enemies Chaos Dragon was killed by our Chaos Dragon and damage the Adjacent monster.
Agor Longtail, Cornealus, and Oaken Behemoth are both deleted in this round.
Round 5
This battle is almost over. Runemancer Florre were left in Enemies team. Runemancer Florre remove Carnage Titan in this round. The Damage between Chaos Dragon and Adelade Brigthwing is not enough to knock down the Runemancer Florre.
Round 6
Finally our team defeated the Runemancer Florre with the combined attack of Chaos Dragon and Zyvax Vuul.

Our advantage in this battle is our Summoner Quix the Devious. - 1 range attack from Cornealus and Runemancer Florre was a very big help also the - 1 speed really matters the most.
